Canon 964

1. If the postulation has not been admitted by the competent

authority the right of electing reverts to the group. 2. The

admission of the postulation is to be made known immediately to

the one postulated observing can. 957, 2 and 3. 3. The person who accepts the postulation which has been admitted immediately acquires the office with the full effects of law.
