Can. 1526 - § 1Onus probandi incumbit ei qui asserit
§ 2Non indigent probatione
1_ quae ab ipsa lege praesumuntur; 
2_ facta ab uno ex contendentibus asserta et ab altero admissa, nisi iure vel a iudice 
probatio nihilominus exigatur.
 
Can. 1527 - § 1Probationes cuiuslibet generis, quae ad causam cognoscendam utiles 
videantur et sint licitae, adduci possunt
§ 2Si pars instet ut probatio a iudice reiecta admittatur, ipse iudex rem expeditissime 
definiat.
 
Can. 1528 - Si pars vel testis se sistere ad respondendum coram iudice renuant, licet eos 
audire etiam per laicum a iudice designatum aut requirere eorum declarationem coram 
publico notario vel quovis alio legitimo modo.
 
Can. 1529 - Iudex ad probationes colligendas ne procedat ante litis contestationem nisi ob 
gravem causam.
