7.2.8. Surveys

Household surveys are an important source of socio-economic and health data. Important indicators to inform and monitor development policies are often derived from such surveys.

Many European countries conduct on a (ir)regular basis such surveys which also contain questions on accidents and injuries

Within the European Core Health Interview Survey (ECHIS) selected indicators on injuries are collected.
