69. The heart of our consecrated life is the Eucharist. In it the community finds its union strengthened1, and from it, the community draws its dynamism and lives in union with the Church, visible and invisible.
Each day, as a community, we take part in the Eucharistic Sacrifice2. We listen to the Word of God, receive the Body of Christ in communion3, and adore the Lord Himself present in the Blessed Sacrament4. Thus, we gradually become one with Jesus5, who offers Himself continually to the Father. Like Jesus, we offer our lives for others6.
69.1 On those days when we cannot have Mass, we celebrate a liturgy of the Word during which we receive Holy Communion.
69.2 Attendance at a parish Mass on Sundays is strongly recommended in order to show our union with the People of God gathered around the Risen Christ.
