Gathered around Mary

48. As was the case with the community of the apostles gathered together on Pentecost day, we are conscious of the presence among us of Mary, Mother of the Church¹. She helps us to live as brothers, bringing home to us the realisation that we make up one body in Christ².

Like Mary at the Visitation³ and at Cana⁴, we remain attentive to the needs of the community and of the world. Our life, like hers at Nazareth, is to be simple and hard-working.
