Book, Chapter

 1     3, 4-8  |         I burn to re-mount from earthly things to Thee, nor knew
 2     5, 8-14 |          that I might change my earthly dwelling for the salvation
 3     5, 8-15 |         end all desire, and the earthly part of her affection to
 4     7, 17-23| presseth down the soul, and the earthly tabernacle weigheth down
 5     8, 7-17 |        deferring to reject mere earthly felicity, and give myself
 6     9, 4-10 |       the eyes of flesh in that earthly sun; for they that would
 7     9, 9-22 |     towards the very end of his earthly life, did she gain unto
 8     9, 10-24|     very highest delight of the earthly senses, in the very purest
 9     9, 10-26|      see thee withal, despising earthly happiness, become His servant:
10     9, 11-28|       beyond the seas, what was earthly of this united pair had
11     9, 13-34|         seem blameworthy for an earthly feeling, I pour out unto
12    12, 15-19|        the house of God, not of earthly mould, nor of celestial
13    13, 15-18|    immortal, and separated from earthly corruption. Let them praise
14    13, 17-20|         one end, a temporal and earthly felicity, for attaining
15    13, 32-47|       the earth decked out with earthly creatures, and man, created
16    13, 34-49|  distributing to the poor their earthly riches, to obtain heavenly.
