 1    12, 29-40|      as the sound before the tune. Of these four, the first
 2    12, 29-40|      is therefore before the tune; because a tune is a formed
 3    12, 29-40|   before the tune; because a tune is a formed sound; and a
 4    12, 29-40|     formed, that it may be a tune; and therefore (as I said)
 5    12, 29-40|    is before the form of the tune; not before, through any
 6    12, 29-40|   power it hath to make it a tune; for a sound is no way the
 7    12, 29-40|    way the workmaster of the tune; but is something corporeal,
 8    12, 29-40|   singeth, whereof to make a tune. Nor is it first in time;
 9    12, 29-40|      forth together with the tune; nor first in choice, for
10    12, 29-40|   sound is not better than a tune, a tune being not only a
11    12, 29-40|    not better than a tune, a tune being not only a sound,
12    12, 29-40| first in original, because a tune receives not form to become
13    12, 29-40|  receives a form to become a tune. By this example, let him
