1 1, 1 | 1. In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.~
2 1, 2 | 2. Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer
3 2 | 286 verses.~In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. ~
4 2, 2 | doubt, to those who fear Allah; ~
5 2, 7 | 7. Allah hath set a seal on their
6 2, 8 | who say: "We believe in Allah and the Last Day;" but they
7 2, 9 | Fain would they deceive Allah and those who believe, but
8 2, 10 | hearts is a disease; and Allah has increased their disease:
9 2, 15 | 15. Allah will throw back their mockery
10 2, 17 | lighted all around him, Allah took away their light and
11 2, 19 | in terror of death. But Allah is ever round the rejecters
12 2, 20 | they stand still. And if Allah willed, He could take away
13 2, 20 | hearing and seeing; for Allah hath power over all things. ~
14 2, 22 | then set not up rivals unto Allah when ye know (the truth). ~
15 2, 23 | if there are any) besides Allah, if your (doubts) are true. ~
16 2, 26 | 26. Allah disdains not to use the
17 2, 26 | reject Faith say: "What means Allah by this similitude?" By
18 2, 27 | 27. Those who break Allah's Covenant after it is ratified,
19 2, 27 | ratified, and who sunder what Allah Has ordered to be joined,
20 2, 28 | can ye reject the faith in Allah?- seeing that ye were without
21 2, 33 | When he had told them, Allah said: "Did I not tell you
22 2, 37 | Lord certain words, and (Allah) accepted his repentance;
23 2, 45 | 45. Nay, seek (Allah's) help with patient perseverance
24 2, 55 | believe in thee until we see Allah manifestly," Thereupon ye
25 2, 60 | the sustenance provided by Allah, and do no evil nor mischief
26 2, 61 | themselves the wrath of Allah. This because they went
27 2, 61 | on rejecting the Signs of Allah and slaying His Messengers
28 2, 62 | Sabians,- any who believe in Allah and the Last Day, and work
29 2, 63 | therein: Perchance ye may fear Allah." ~
30 2, 64 | for the Grace and Mercy of Allah to you, ye had surely been
31 2, 66 | lesson to those who fear Allah. ~
32 2, 67 | Moses said to his people: "Allah commands that ye sacrifice
33 2, 67 | laughing-stock of us?" He said: "Allah save me from being an ignorant (
34 2, 70 | indeed for guidance, if Allah wills." ~
35 2, 72 | yourselves as to the crime: But Allah was to bring forth what
36 2, 73 | piece of the (heifer)." Thus Allah bringeth the dead to life
37 2, 74 | others which sink for fear of Allah. And Allah is not unmindful
38 2, 74 | sink for fear of Allah. And Allah is not unmindful of what
39 2, 75 | of them heard the Word of Allah, and perverted it knowingly
40 2, 76 | Shall you tell them what Allah hath revealed to you, that
41 2, 77 | 77. Know they not that Allah knoweth what they conceal

68 2, 107| Knowest thou not that to Allah belongeth the dominion of
69 2, 109| forgive and overlook, till Allah brings about his command;
70 2, 109| brings about his command; for Allah Hath power over all things. ~
71 2, 110| you, ye shall find it with Allah. for Allah sees Well all
72 2, 110| find it with Allah. for Allah sees Well all that ye do. ~
73 2, 112| submits His whole self to Allah and is a doer of good,-
74 2, 113| those say who know not; but Allah will judge between them
75 2, 114| places for the worship of Allah, His name should be celebrated?-
76 2, 115| 115. To Allah belong the East and the
77 2, 115| whithersoever ye turn, there is Allah's face. For Allah is All-Embracing,
78 2, 115| there is Allah's face. For Allah is All-Embracing, All-Knowing. ~
79 2, 116| 116. They say: "(Allah) hath begotten a son" :Glory
80 2, 118| knowledge: "Why speaketh not Allah unto us? or why cometh not
81 2, 120| religion. Say: "The Guidance of Allah,-that is the (only) Guidance."
82 2, 120| protector nor helper against Allah. ~
83 2, 126| such of them as believe in Allah and the Last Day." He said: "(
84 2, 132| did Jacob; "Oh my sons! Allah hath chosen the Faith for
85 2, 135| he joined not gods with Allah." ~
86 2, 136| Say ye: "We believe in Allah, and the revelation given
87 2, 136| of them: And we submit to Allah (in Islám)." ~
88 2, 137| they who are in schism; but Allah will suffice thee as against
89 2, 138| religion) takes its hue from Allah. And who can give a better
90 2, 138| can give a better hue than Allah. And it is He Whom we worship. ~
91 2, 139| ye dispute with us about Allah, seeing that He is our Lord
92 2, 140| Do ye know better than Allah. Ah! who is more unjust
93 2, 140| testimony they have from Allah. But Allah is not unmindful
94 2, 140| they have from Allah. But Allah is not unmindful of what
95 2, 142| they were used?" Say: To Allah belong both East and West:
96 2, 143| except to those guided by Allah. And never would Allah Make
97 2, 143| by Allah. And never would Allah Make your faith of no effect.
98 2, 143| faith of no effect. For Allah is to all people Most surely
99 2, 144| from their Lord. Nor is Allah unmindful of what they do. ~
100 2, 148| each is a goal to which Allah turns him; then strive together (
101 2, 148| good. Wheresoever ye are, Allah will bring you together.
102 2, 148| bring you together. For Allah Hath power over all things. ~
103 2, 149| truth from thy Lord. And Allah is not unmindful of what
104 2, 153| perseverance and prayer; for Allah is with those who patiently
105 2, 154| are slain in the way of Allah. "They are dead." Nay, they
106 2, 156| afflicted with calamity: "To Allah We belong, and to Him is
107 2, 158| are among the Symbols of Allah. So if those who visit the

124 2, 174| 174. Those who conceal Allah's revelations in the Book,
125 2, 174| themselves naught but Fire; Allah will not address them on
126 2, 176| Their doom is) because Allah sent down the Book in truth
127 2, 177| righteousness - to believe in Allah and the Last Day, and the
128 2, 181| who make the change. For Allah hears and knows (All things). ~
129 2, 182| is no wrong in him: For Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. ~

143 2, 195| substance in the cause of Allah, and make not your own hands

155 2, 203| is to do right. Then fear Allah, and know that ye will surely

158 2, 206| it is said to him, "Fear Allah.", He is led by arrogance

182 2, 221| beckon you to the Fire. But Allah beckons by His Grace to
183 2, 222| them as ordained for you by Allah. For Allah loves those who
184 2, 222| ordained for you by Allah. For Allah loves those who turn to
185 2, 223| souls beforehand; and fear Allah. And know that ye are to
186 2, 224| 224. And make not Allah's (name) an excuse in your
187 2, 224| peace between persons; for Allah is One Who heareth and knoweth
188 2, 225| 225. Allah will not call you to account
189 2, 226| ordained; if then they return, Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. ~
190 2, 227| intention is firm for divorce, Allah heareth and knoweth all
191 2, 228| lawful for them to hide what Allah Hath created in their wombs,
192 2, 228| wombs, if they have faith in Allah and the Last Day. And their
193 2, 228| advantage) over them. And Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise. ~
194 2, 229| keep the limits ordained by Allah. If ye (judges) do indeed

204 2, 232| amongst you, who believe in Allah and the Last Day. That is (
205 2, 232| purity amongst you. And Allah knows, and ye know not. ~
206 2, 233| equitable terms. But fear Allah and know that Allah sees
207 2, 233| fear Allah and know that Allah sees well what ye do. ~
208 2, 234| and reasonable manner. And Allah is well acquainted with
209 2, 235| hold it in your hearts. Allah knows that ye cherish them
210 2, 235| fulfilled. And know that Allah Knoweth what is in your
211 2, 235| heed of Him; and know that Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Forbearing. ~
212 2, 237| between yourselves. For Allah sees well all that ye do. ~
213 2, 238| Prayer; and stand before Allah in a devout (frame of mind). ~
214 2, 239| are in security, celebrate Allah's praises in the manner
215 2, 240| provided it is reasonable. And Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise. ~
216 2, 242| 242. Thus doth Allah make clear His Signs to

231 2, 249| with the armies, he said: "Allah will test you at the stream:
232 2, 249| convinced that they must meet Allah, said: "How oft, by Allah'
233 2, 249| Allah, said: "How oft, by Allah's will, hath a small force
234 2, 249| force vanquished a big one? Allah is with those who steadfastly
235 2, 251| 251. By Allah's will they routed them;
236 2, 251| David slew Goliath; and Allah gave him power and wisdom
237 2, 251| He willed. And did not Allah check one set of people
238 2, 251| be full of mischief: But Allah is full of bounty to all
239 2, 252| These are the Signs of Allah. we rehearse them to thee
240 2, 253| above others: To one of them Allah spoke; others He raised

247 2, 257| 257. Allah is the Protector of those

249 2, 258| Said Abraham: "But it is Allah that causeth the sun to

255 2, 261| their wealth in the way of Allah is that of a grain of corn:
256 2, 261| ear Hath a hundred grains. Allah giveth manifold increase
257 2, 261| to whom He pleaseth: And Allah careth for all and He knoweth
258 2, 262| substance in the cause of Allah, and follow not up their
259 2, 263| charity followed by injury. Allah is free of all wants, and
260 2, 264| but believe neither in Allah nor in the Last Day. They
261 2, 264| aught they have earned. And Allah guideth not those who reject
262 2, 265| substance, seeking to please Allah and to strengthen their
263 2, 265| light moisture sufficeth it. Allah seeth well whatever ye do. ~
264 2, 266| and be burnt up? Thus doth Allah make clear to you (His)
265 2, 267| closed eyes. And know that Allah is Free of all wants, and
266 2, 268| you to conduct unseemly. Allah promiseth you His forgiveness
267 2, 268| forgiveness and bounties. And Allah careth for all and He knoweth
268 2, 270| whatever vow ye make, be sure Allah knows it all. But the wrong-doers
269 2, 271| your (stains of) evil. And Allah is well acquainted with
270 2, 272| them on the right path, but Allah sets on the right path whom
271 2, 272| so seeking the "Face" of Allah. Whatever good ye give,
272 2, 273| for those in need, who, in Allah's cause are restricted (
273 2, 273| good ye give, be assured Allah knoweth it well. ~
274 2, 275| Trade is like usury," but Allah hath permitted trade and
275 2, 275| past; their case is for Allah (to judge); but those who
276 2, 276| 276. Allah will deprive usury of all
277 2, 278| O ye who believe! Fear Allah, and give up what remains
278 2, 279| take notice of war from Allah and His Messenger. But if
279 2, 281| shall be brought back to Allah. Then shall every soul be
280 2, 282| scribe refuse to write: as Allah Has taught him, so let him
281 2, 282| but let him fear His Lord Allah, and not diminish aught
282 2, 282| is juster in the sight of Allah, more suitable as evidence,
283 2, 282| wickedness in you. So fear Allah. For it is Allah that teaches
284 2, 282| So fear Allah. For it is Allah that teaches you. And Allah
285 2, 282| Allah that teaches you. And Allah is well acquainted with
286 2, 283| trust, and let him fear Allah, his Lord. Conceal not evidence;
287 2, 283| is tainted with sin. And Allah Knoweth all that ye do. ~
288 2, 284| 284. To Allah belongeth all that is in
289 2, 284| your minds or conceal it, Allah Calleth you to account for
290 2, 284| punisheth whom He pleaseth, for Allah hath power over all things. ~
291 2, 285| one (of them) believeth in Allah, His angels, His books,
292 2, 286| 286. On no soul doth Allah place a burden greater than
293 3 | 200 verses.~In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. ~
294 3, 2 | 2. Allah. There is no god but He,-
295 3, 4 | reject Faith in the Signs of Allah will suffer the severest
296 3, 4 | the severest penalty, and Allah is Exalted in Might, Lord
297 3, 5 | 5. From Allah, verily nothing is hidden
298 3, 7 | its interpretation except Allah. And those who are firmly
299 3, 9 | which there is no doubt; for Allah never fails in His promise." ~
300 3, 10 | avail them aught against Allah. They are themselves but
301 3, 11 | They denied our Signs, and Allah called them to account for
302 3, 11 | account for their sins. For Allah is strict in punishment. ~
303 3, 13 | fighting in the cause of Allah, the other resisting Allah.
304 3, 13 | Allah, the other resisting Allah. these saw with their own
305 3, 13 | twice their number. But Allah doth support with His aid
306 3, 14 | this world's life; but with Allah is the best of the goals (
307 3, 15 | and the good pleasure of Allah. For in Allah's sight are (
308 3, 15 | pleasure of Allah. For in Allah's sight are (all) His servants,- ~
309 3, 17 | who spend (in the way of Allah); and who pray for forgiveness
310 3, 18 | That is the witness of Allah, His angels, and those endued
311 3, 19 | 19. The Religion before Allah is Islám (submission to
312 3, 19 | if any deny the Signs of Allah, Allah is swift in calling
313 3, 19 | deny the Signs of Allah, Allah is swift in calling to account. ~
314 3, 20 | submitted my whole self to Allah and so have those who follow
315 3, 20 | convey the Message; and in Allah's sight are (all) His servants. ~
316 3, 21 | those who deny the Signs of Allah and in defiance of right,
317 3, 23 | are invited to the Book of Allah, to settle their dispute,
318 3, 26 | 26. Say: "O Allah. Lord of Power (And Rule),
319 3, 28 | will there be help from Allah. except by way of precaution,
320 3, 28 | yourselves from them. But Allah cautions you (to fear) Himself;
321 3, 28 | for the final goal is to Allah. ~
322 3, 29 | your hearts or reveal it, Allah knows it all: He knows what
323 3, 29 | and what is on earth. And Allah has power over all things. ~
324 3, 30 | between it and its evil. But Allah cautions you (to fear) Him.
325 3, 30 | cautions you (to fear) Him. And Allah is full of kindness to those
326 3, 31 | 31. Say: "If ye do love Allah, Follow me: Allah will love
327 3, 31 | do love Allah, Follow me: Allah will love you and forgive
328 3, 31 | forgive you your sins: For Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful." ~
329 3, 32 | 32. Say: "Obey Allah and His Messenger.": But
330 3, 32 | But if they turn back, Allah loveth not those who reject
331 3, 33 | 33. Allah did choose Adam and Noah,
332 3, 34 | Offspring, one of the other: And Allah heareth and knoweth all
333 3, 36 | of a female child!"- and Allah knew best what she brought
334 3, 37 | to you?" She said: "From Allah. for Allah provides sustenance
335 3, 37 | She said: "From Allah. for Allah provides sustenance to whom
336 3, 39 | angels called unto him: "Allah doth give thee glad tidings

342 3, 47 | me?" He said: "Even so; Allah createth what He willeth:
343 3, 48 | 48. "And Allah will teach him the Book
344 3, 49 | and it becomes a bird by Allah's leave: And I heal those
345 3, 49 | bring the dead into life, by Allah's leave; and I declare to

460 3, 154| Indeed, this affair is wholly Allah's." They hide in their minds
