Sura, Verse

 1   2, 253|      had so willed, succeeding generations would not have fought among
 2   6, 6  |   before them We did destroy?- generations We had established on the
 3   6, 6  |     raised in their wake fresh generations (to succeed them). ~
 4  10, 13 |                            13. Generations before you We destroyed
 5  11, 116|      only they had been of the generations before you, men of righteousness,

 7  17, 59 |      because the men of former generations treated them as false: We
 8  19, 74 |       But how many (countless) generations before them have We destroyed,
