Part, Chapter

 1  Unic,   1|        salvation -- and may it please Thy Majesty to save me! --
 2  Unic,   2|      grace, wherever I was, to please people, and so I became
 3  Unic,   5| blindness of the world! May it please Thee, Lord, that I may be
 4  Unic,   5|     did more; for, in order to please me, he gave me the little
 5  Unic,   5|   blessed for ever. And may it please His Majesty that I be utterly
 6  Unic,   6|       which I set them. May it please His Majesty to forgive me,
 7  Unic,   6|        to forsake Thee. May it please Thy Majesty that I be not
 8  Unic,   7|     because the vision did not please me, I forced myself to give
 9  Unic,   7|     anxious to try to love and please God to hide their good desires,
10  Unic,  10|    simplicity, endeavouring to please Him alone and not men.~
11  Unic,  11|     and his purpose must be to please, not himself, but Him),
12  Unic,  11|        in me, and may it never please Thy Majesty that a gift
13  Unic,  12|      us to harbour a desire to please Him, although our deeds
14  Unic,  13|    will shine the more. May it please the Lord to keep them in
15  Unic,  14|        once, but often. May it please Thy goodness, Lord, that
16  Unic,  15|      harm to themselves -- and please God it be to themselves
17  Unic,  16|      follies, striving ever to please Him Who thus possesses it.
18  Unic,  18|       its strength to seek and please God, it becomes His pleasure,
19  Unic,  19|      still have to say. May it please the Lord that any foolishness
20  Unic,  21|    those who serve Him. May it please His Majesty that the immense
21  Unic,  22|       God's will, if we are to please Him and He is to grant us
22  Unic,  23|      harm provided I strove to please the Lord and not to offend
23  Unic,  23|        for I really desired to please God and I could not persuade
24  Unic,  24|       that He would help me to please Him in everything, I began
25  Unic,  25|                                Please God I be not one of these!
26  Unic,  26|      soul is upright enough to please Him altogether? It is for
27  Unic,  27|                         May it please the Lord to bring me to
28  Unic,  30|        much farther than that: please God I may still be as far
29  Unic,  31|      theirs still more. May it please His Majesty to give me grace
30  Unic,  32|       He has helped me. May it please His Majesty not to let me
31  Unic,  36|  willingness whatever it might please the Lord to send me. On
32  Unic,  37|    things to His glory. May it please His Majesty that some soul
33  Unic,  37|    truly! Let us all strive to please His Majesty, since even
34  Unic,  37|       in Heaven at all: may it please His Majesty to bring me
35  Unic,  37|    intentions were good -- and please God they may believe us!~
36  Unic,  37|    never-ending, for, study to please them as I would, I was always
37  Unic,  37|        we should be, always to please God and to hate the world,
