 1  Unic,   3|      only for the honour of Thy Son, when we would forfeit a
 2  Unic,   3|        but for the blood of Thy Son and for His merits.~
 3  Unic,   3|      which was performed by Thy Son in order to please Thee
 4  Unic,   3| churches? Could it be that [Thy Son and our Redeemer] had failed
 5  Unic,   3|   redemption by Thy Most Sacred Son, upon His merits and upon
 6  Unic,  27|         as the Father of such a Son, while Thy Son reveals Himself
 7  Unic,  27|        of such a Son, while Thy Son reveals Himself as the Son
 8  Unic,  27|      Son reveals Himself as the Son of such a Father! Blessed
 9  Unic,  27|    above itself, that this holy Son might show it the nature
10  Unic,  27|                               O Son of God and my Lord! How
11  Unic,  27|        He pardoned the prodigal son, must comfort us in our
12  Unic,  27|      from him that Thou art the Son of God, but Thy great desire
13  Unic,  27|       speak as a dearly beloved son both for Thyself and for
14  Unic,  27|  possibly say it would be. What son is there in the world who
15  Unic,  27|       is of lower rank than his son, the son feels no honour
16  Unic,  27|    lower rank than his son, the son feels no honour in recognizing
17  Unic,  27|        Bartholomew, who was the son of a king! His Majesty knew
18  Unic,  27|      may wander, between such a Son and such a Father there
19  Unic,  28|        Passion, and picture the Son, and offer Him to the Father,
20  Unic,  28|      not see that His most holy Son says: "Who art in the Heavens"?
21  Unic,  31|        might well have been the son of these poor people rather
22  Unic,  31|     poor people rather than the Son of his Heavenly Father.
23  Unic,  32|        hearts? Ask His glorious Son, Who made it thus in the
24  Unic,  32|         back upon them. For Thy Son gave Thee this will of mine
25  Unic,  33|          Though both Father and Son are one and the same, and
26  Unic,  33|         that He was His beloved Son and that He was well pleased
27  Unic,  33|        who, after giving us his son, and such a Son, would allow
28  Unic,  33|   giving us his son, and such a Son, would allow Him to remain
29  Unic,  33|       great love is that of the Son and what a great love is
30  Unic,  33|          How canst Thou see Thy Son every day in such wicked
31  Unic,  33|        this, my Lord, since Thy Son allows no obstacle to stand
32  Unic,  33|          the Father gave us His Son once and for all to die
33  Unic,  33|  treasure are we purchasing Thy Son! How to sell Him we already
34  Unic,  34|        needed it. Therefore the Son prays the Father that, since
35  Unic,  34|   Majesty has already given His Son to us, by sending Him, of
36  Unic,  35|         the will of His Beloved Son, He will not hinder Him
37  Unic,  35|  excellent a work, in which His Son so fully reveals the love
38  Unic,  35|          who will speak for Thy Son, for He has never defended
39  Unic,  35|     ill-treated. Since His Holy Son has given us this excellent
40  Unic,  35|         wilt. Remember that Thy Son is still in the world; may
41  Unic,  35|         but for the sake of Thy Son. We dare not entreat Thee
42  Unic,  35|      Thee, by the merits of Thy Son, to grant me this favour,
43  Unic,  36|         here for Thy mercy. Thy Son must pardon me, for no one
44  Unic,  36|        poor: when Thy most holy Son makes this petition in the
45  Unic,  42|         up for them because His Son asks it of Him and teaches
