V Agni

1. Agni, with hymns may we now accomplish that which thou lovest,

Strength, like a horse auspicious, with service!

2. For, Agni, thou art now the promoter of strength auspicious,

Lofty sacrifice, power effective.

3. Through these our praises, come thou to meet us, bright as the sunlight,

Agni, kindly with all thy faces!
