1 I| Drupada, with his sons, (O Lord of Earth!)~
2 I| Thus, by Arjuna prayed, (O Bharata!)~
3 I| It is not good, O Keshav! nought of good~
4 I| O Madhusudan! will I strike
5 I| peace could come of that, O Madhava?~
6 I| Of kingly lines o'erthrown and kinsmen slain,~
7 I| O thou Delight of Men, Janardana?~
8 II| On Bhishma, or on Drona- O thou Chief!-~
9 II| whom, with tender smile, (O Bharata!)~
10 II| burns it not, waters cannot o'erwhelm,~
11 II| Krishna. When one, O Pritha's Son!-~
12 II| O Son of Kunti that a governed
13 II| Toucheth tranquillity! O Pritha's Son!~
14 III| mind, and reason -- these, O Kunti's Son!~
15 III| Strongest; and high o'er all the ruling Soul.~
16 IV| O Slayer of thy Foes! Albeit
17 IV| Declines, O Bharata! when Wickedness~
18 IV| Another, O thou Glory of thy Line?~
19 IV| wealth, since gifts' worth- O my Prince!~
20 V| Against the "opposites." O valiant Prince!~
21 VI| gain from work, that man, O Prince!~
22 VI| friend when Self doth rule o'er Self,~
23 VII| silver of the moon, the gold o' the sun,~
24 VII| O Prince of India! highest,
25 VIII| But they, O Kunti's Son! that reach
26 IX| when that prodigious joy is o'er,~
27 IX| O Kunti's Son! though they
28 IX| To evil Bhuts given o'er sink to the Bhuts;~
29 IX| O Pritha's Son! whoso will
30 X| O Kesava! that neither gods
31 X| how shouldst thou receive, O Prince! the vastness of
32 XI| O Lotus-eyed!- whence is the
33 XI| Wholly revealed. O Thou Divinest One!~
34 XI| Sanjaya. Then, O King! to God, so saying,~
35 XI| Thrilled, o'erfilled, dazzled, and dazed,~
36 XI| O Holy, Marvellous Form! is
37 XI| O Mystic, Awful One!~
38 XI| O Eyes of God! O Head!~
39 XI| O Eyes of God! O Head!~
40 XI| O Mightiest Lord! rehearse~
41 XI| O Utmost One! O Lord!~
42 XI| O Utmost One! O Lord!~
43 XI| worlds with wealth of life! O Treasure-Claimer,~
44 XI| Wisdom Thyself! O Part~
45 XIII| Arjuna. Now would I hear, O gracious Kesava!~

47 XIV| Binds the embodied Soul, O Kunti's Son!~
48 XIV| Leave Soothfastness, O Bharata! Where this~
49 XVI| O Indian Prince! of him whose
50 XVII| O Best of Bharatas! is Rajas-rite,~
51 XVIII| Tis well set forth, O Chaser of thy Foes!~
52 XVIII| Contrariwise of Truth. O Pritha's Son!~
53 XVIII| And Sudras, O thou Slayer of thy Foes!~
54 XVIII| Whoso reads this converse o'er,~
55 XVIII| this been heard by thee, O Indian Prince!~
56 XVIII| gracious speech of Krishna, O my~
57 XVIII| And aye, when I remember, O Lord my King, again~
58 XVIII| marvel and my love and bliss. O Archer-Prince! all hail!~
