 1 Canons,  5 |           of senatorial rank or a secular way of life, who has recently

 5 Canons,  17|        prescribed the presence of secular rulers at synods but only
 6 Canons,  17| Furthermore, it is not right that secular rulers should be observers
 7 Canons,  18|          force on the part of any secular person, or taken away by
 8 Canons,  18|        prelate of the church. Any secular person who acts in a way
 9 Canons,  21|      Therefore we declare that no secular powers should treat with
10 Canons,  21|            If, then, any ruler or secular authority tries to expel
11 Canons,  22|    benefit of his church. ~If any secular authority or ruler, or a
12 Canons,  24|           law, give themselves to secular business and administration,
