Chapter

 1 1 | candlestick, might shine and give light to the Church of God, our
 2 3 |         eyes of his soul from the light of contemplation; and being
 3 8 |          of their soul, under the light yoke of our Saviour: then (
 4 8 |           saith: "He was the true light, which doth lighten every
 5 28|          upon which the glass did light, but yet continued for all
 6 35|         he looked forth, he saw a light, which banished away the
 7 35|         such brightness, that the light which did shine in the midst
 8 35|           far more clear than the light of the day. Upon this sight
 9 35|     brightness of that glittering light, he saw the soul of Germanus,
10 35|           a little remnant of the light, but wondering at so great
11 35|         see but a glimpse of that light which is in the Creator,
12 35|        means of that supernatural light, the capacity of the inward
13 35|          for being rapt up in the light of God, it is inwardly in
14 35|           those things but in the light of God: what marvel, then,
15 35|          him, who, rapt up in the light of his soul, was at that
16 35|        God, and therefore in that light which appeared to his outward
17 35|          outward eyes, the inward light which was in his soul ravished
