 1 Intro      |    INTRODUCTION ~This council was summoned by pope Julius II by the
 2 Intro,    2|         purposes duly and rightly summoned, has begun to be celebrated,
 3 Intro,    3|        this third session. We had summoned this session on another
 4 Intro,    3|       causes, we postponed it and summoned it to be held today, with
 5 Intro,    6|        guided by the holy Spirit, summoned the sixth session of the
 6 Intro,    6|         the aims for which it was summoned have been completed, in
 7 Intro,    6|       each and every one of those summoned to the council by the said
 8 Intro,    8|        anxious to protect it, had summoned the ecumenical Lateran council
 9 Intro,    9|      Lateran council -- which was summoned and begun by our predecessor
10 Intro,    9|           which had been solemnly summoned and duly proclaimed, many
11 Intro,    9|      Julius, our predecessor, who summoned to this council all those
12 Intro,    9|          councils which have been summoned, including those under that
13 Intro,    9|  particular from the letter which summoned and proclaimed the said
14 Intro,    9|           the objectors have been summoned, competent, responsible
15 Intro,   10|          II, of happy memory, who summoned this council. The prelates
16 Intro,   10|         aforesaid laity have been summoned on several occasions to
17 Intro,   10| supporters, who were legitimately summoned (as just stated) for this
18 Intro,   11|    ordinary so that, after he has summoned three or four knowledgeable
19 Intro,   11|           memory, pope Julius II, summoned the sacred Lateran council
20 Intro,   11|          France -gave warning and summoned the prelates of France,
21 Intro,   11|          procurator fiscal. Those summoned and not presenting themselves

23 Intro,   11|          despite being warned and summoned, have not appeared before
24 Intro,   12|         of whom we were then one, summoned the sacred Lateran council.
