Chapter, §

 1 Intro      |       namely on 31 July 1521 by cardinal Antonio del Monte, acting
 2 Intro,    5|       other declaration, of his cardinal's rank and of all other
 3 Intro,    9|      and care, we rule that the cardinal to whom the reporting on
 4 Intro,    9|        of their grade. The said cardinal making the report shall
 5 Intro,    9|         status and dignity of a cardinal, are obliged, if they have
 6 Intro,    9| salvation of his own soul, each cardinal should give to his basilica
 7 Intro,    9|         few; for the house of a cardinal ought to be an open lodging,
 8 Intro,    9|  imitated, we ordain that every cardinal show himself an excellent
 9 Intro,    9|   profit . ~Since the duty of a cardinal is primarily concerned with
10 Intro,    9|       it may be lawful for each cardinal to say freely and without
11 Intro,    9| conscience, we lay down that no cardinal may reveal in writing or
12 Intro,   12|      against those pursuing any cardinal of the said church in a
13 Intro,   12|      said conclave, even if the cardinal in question has been elected
