 1   1, 2 |          bliss.~ Let us take our refuge in the Buddha, for he has
 2   1, 2 |       transient. Let us take our refuge in that which~is the immutable
 3   1, 2 |       existence. Let us take our refuge~in the truth that is established
 4   1, 2 |          Buddha. Let us take our refuge in the community of those
 5   4, 13| reverence and said: "We take our refuge,~Lord, in the Blessed One
 6   4, 17|       those who have taken their refuge in the Buddha."~ Kondanna
 7   5, 18|       that surround them. I take refuge in the~Buddha, our Lord:
 8   5, 18|         Buddha, our Lord: I take refuge in the doctrine revealed
 9   5, 18|          revealed by him: I~take refuge in the brotherhood which
10   5, 18|       lay~disciple who has taken refuge in him." Yasa's father was
11   5, 18|        the three-fold formula of refuge.~ When the wealthy merchant
12   5, 18|       wealthy merchant had taken refuge in the Buddha, his eyes~
13   5, 18|       the truth, O Lord! We take refuge in~the Buddha, our Lord.
14   5, 18|        Buddha, our Lord. We take refuge in the doctrine revealed
15   5, 18|         revealed by~him. We take refuge in the brotherhood which

17   5, 18|         disciples and took their refuge in the Buddha.~ Now there
18   5, 18|   accepted the doctrine and took refuge in the Buddha,~the Dharma,
19   6, 19|        Jatilas rejoiced and took refuge in the Buddha, the~Dharma,
20   6, 20|        to see may see. I take my refuge in the Buddha. I take~my
21   6, 20|         in the Buddha. I take~my refuge in the Dharma. I take my
22   6, 20|         in the Dharma. I take my refuge in the Sangha."~ The Tathagata,
23   6, 21|       the king, having taken his refuge in the Buddha,~invited the
24   6, 21|        blessings to all who take refuge in him." Sakka intoned~this
25   6, 22|        the two friends had taken refuge in the Buddha, the Dharma
26  10, 29|        in the Tathagata and took~refuge in his doctrine, among them
27  12, 40|    kinsman;~their karma is their refuge; karma allots beings to
28  13, 43|      vihara:~ ~ "Unless you take refuge in the Buddha and find rest
29  13, 43|          righteous life and take refuge in the Buddha's~ name.~
30  13, 47|         hatred will, when taking refuge in the Buddha, be~filled
31  13, 50|          the darkness. I take my refuge in the Enlightened Teacher,~

37  13, 53|       Kutadanta: "Let me take my refuge in the Blessed One, in the~
38  13, 54|        lead them to the place of refuge. I shall fill with joy all
39  13, 57|       but he came again and took refuge in the Buddha, the Dharma,
40  16, 80|        great bliss. Having taken refuge in the Buddha, the Dharma,~
41  16, 81|     righteousness; and they took refuge in the Buddha, the Dharma,
42  16, 82|    praised the doctrine and took refuge in the Buddha.~ ~
