 1   1, 4 | pure-minded angels of the great Brahma held out a golden net to~
 2   1, 4 |     noble~son. I do not worship Brahma, but I worship this child;

 6   4, 14|    proclaimed among~men!"~ Then Brahma Sahampati understood that

 8  13, 49|         leads unto a union with Brahma is that which has been~announced
 9  13, 49|         leads unto a union with Brahma is that which has~been announced
10  13, 49|        all lead~to a union with Brahma?~ Then the Blessed One proposed
11  13, 49|       versed in the Vedas, seen Brahma face to face?" "No sir!"
12  13, 49|       versed in the Vedas, seen Brahma face to face?" The two~Brahmans
13  13, 49|       authors of the~Vedas seen Brahma face to face?" Again the
14  13, 49| exclaimed: "How can any one see Brahma or~understand him, for the
15  13, 49|      Varuna, we call upon thee;~Brahma, we call upon thee.' Verily,
16  13, 49|      after death be united with Brahma.~ "Now tell me," continued
17  13, 49|     what do the Brahmans say of~Brahma? Is his mind full of lust?"
18  13, 49|     this, the Buddha asked: "Is Brahma's mind full of malice, sloth,
19  13, 49|        the path to a union with~Brahma."~ And the Blessed One said: "
20  13, 49|      that leads to a union with Brahma. He knows it as one who
21  13, 49|        has~entered the world of Brahma and has been born in it.
