 1   1, 9 |   Bodhisattva replied: "Not so, sir! If we remove the water,~
 2   5, 18|        Yasa's father: "Come in, sir, thou wilt find~thy son";
 3  13, 49|       Brahma face to face?" "No sir!" was the~reply.~ "But,
 4  13, 49|         two~Brahmans said: "No, sir."~ "But, then," said the
 5  13, 49|          sloth, or~pride?"~ "No sir!" was the reply. "He is
 6  13, 49|         from these~vices?" "No, sir!" said Vasettha.~ The Holy
 7  13, 53|         Buddha retorted: "Then, sir, there is no such thing
 8  13, 53|         the second watch." "No, sir," said~Kutadanta. "In one
 9  13, 53| identity or~non-identity?" "No, sir," said the Brahman, "it
10  13, 53|  certain~sense the same." "Yes, sir," replied Kutadanta.~ The
11  13, 53|         same man as thou?" "No, sir," interrupted Kutadanta.~
12  16, 84|       girl said: "Pray tell me, sir; who is it?" And the man
