1 3, 16| THE ARAHAT, OR HOLY ONE~ ~ And for a disciple
2 3, 19| that supreme goal of the~holy life, for the sake of which,
3 3, 20| does not wish to lead the holy life~under the Blessed One,
4 3, 20| worldling, void of regard for~holy men, ignorant of the teaching
5 3, 20| ignorant of the teaching of holy men, untrained in the noble~
6 3, 20| however, who has regard for holy~men, knows the teaching
7 3, 20| men, knows the teaching of holy men, is well trained in
8 3, 20| An~Arahat, or perfectly "Holy One," is freed from all
9 3, 20| conjoined with the path, the holy path being turned~away from
10 3, 20| conjoined with the path, the holy path~being pursued;-this
11 3, 20| this body, in that case a holy life is not possible;~or,
12 3, 20| body, in that case also a holy life is not~possible. Both
13 3, 21| application-the mind being holy, being~turned away from
14 3, 21| conjoined with the path, the holy path~being pursued -: these "
15 3, 22| therefrom-the mind~being holy, being turned away from
16 3, 22| conjoined with the~path, the holy path being pursued -: this
17 3, 23| therefrom-the mind being holy, being turned away from
18 3, 23| conjoined with the path, the holy path being pursued -: this
19 3, 24| therefrom-the mind being holy, being turned~away from
20 3, 24| conjoined with the path, the holy path~being pursued -: this
21 3, 27| the Buddha, the~Law, the Holy Brotherhood, Morality, etc.,
22 3, 28| points the rules of the holy life. How, if now~I were
23 3, 28| is rebirth, fulfilled the Holy Life; what was to be done,~
24 3, 28| Hence, the purpose of the Holy Life does not consist in
25 3, 28| verily, is the object of the Holy Life, that is its essence,
26 3, 28| formerly, in the past, were Holy and Enlightened~Ones, those
27 3, 28| in the future, will be Holy and Enlightened~Ones, those
28 3, 28| well guard, so that this Holy Life may take~its course
