1 3, 18| both these~two extremes the Perfect One has avoided, and found
2 3, 19| the Middle Path which the Perfect One has found out, which~
3 3, 19| and~suffering; it is the perfect path.~ Truly, like this
4 3, 19| struggle for himself, the Perfect Ones have only~pointed out
5 3, 20| something different;~whether the Perfect One continues after death,
6 3, 20| a man~would die, ere the Perfect One could tell him all this.~
7 3, 20| priests who are spotless and~perfect, who can explain this life
8 3, 20| should be answered thus:~ The Perfect One is free from any theory,
9 3, 20| from any theory, for the Perfect One has~understood what
10 3, 20| away. Therefore, I say, the Perfect One has~won complete deliverance
11 3, 20| I" and "mine."~ Whether Perfect Ones [Buddhas] appear in
12 3, 20| in the world or whether~Perfect Ones do not appear in the
13 3, 20| mere popular~notions. The Perfect One, indeed, makes use of
14 3, 20| believe, either that the Perfect One continues after death,
15 3, 20| Both these two Extremes the Perfect One has avoided, and~shown
16 3, 27| the Middle Path which the Perfect One has discovered,~which
17 3, 28| filled with~confidence in the Perfect One. And filled with this
