21 1 | little will He suffer His name to be~employed for dressing
22 1 | few who are not using the name of God~for purposes of Lying
23 1 | any one be arraigned, the~name of God is dragged into the
24 1 | what. it is to take God's name in vain, that is~(to recapitulate
25 1 | falsehood, and~to allege God's name for something that is not
26 1 | also know how to use the name [of God] aright.~For when
27 1 | Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God, in~
28 1 | inference, since using the holy name for falsehood or wickedness
29 1 | right teaching, and when~the name is invoked in trouble or
30 1 | blessed way, and thus His name is~hallowed, as we pray
31 1 | to avoid the use of God's name in its~support. For where
32 1 | and incited to~honor God's name, and to have it always upon
33 1 | is the true~honor of His Name, to look to it and implore
34 1 | very loath to hear God's name,~and cannot remain long
35 1 | by our calling upon His name, God did not preserve us.

52 3 | pray. For to call upon the name of God is~nothing else than
53 3 | upon it and praying the name of God is~honored and profitably
54 3 | taught thus in the devil's name that no one regarded these
55 3 | something to present, state,~and name which he desires; if not,
56 3 | Petition.~~Hallowed be Thy name. ~This is, indeed, somewhat
57 3 | help that by~all means Thy name may be holy. But what is
58 3 | what is it to pray that His name~may be holy? Is it not holy
59 3 | it is not holy. For God's name was given us~when we became
60 3 | most~concerned, that this name have its proper honor, be
61 3 | children we pray that the name of God, which is already
62 3 | praise from us. ~Now the name of God is profaned by us
63 3 | teach,~and speak in the name of God what is false and
64 3 | misleading, so that His~name must serve to adorn and
65 3 | and dishonor of the divine name.~Furthermore, also when
66 3 | grossly abuse the holy name as a cloak for their shame.
67 3 | slanderers. Here again must the name of God come~to shame and
68 3 | we who are called by~His name and have all manner of goods
69 3 | Commandment; namely, that His name be not taken~in vain to
70 3 | For whoever employs the name of God for~any sort of wrong
71 3 | and desecrates this holy name, as aforetime~a church was
72 3 | teachers, who all wear the~holy name as a cover and sham for

78 3 | specious pretexts of the divine name, to be exposed, and~to be
79 3 | be done in us. For as His name~must be hallowed and His
80 3 | not abide on earth nor His name be hallowed.~
81 3 | everything that we pray for: the name or honor of God, God's~kingdom
82 3 | delivered from all evil, the name of God~must first be hallowed
