 1 Pref|        effectual help against the devil, the~world, and the flesh

16    1|    thereunto, because thereby~the devil is put to flight and driven
17    1|     things; to~such an extent the devil has deceived us with false
18    1|         the lying vanities of~the devil. Then, too, all would be
19    1|       parents. But here again~the devil rules in the world, so that
20    1|     instead, everybody ran in the devil's name, into convents or
21    1|           arise to lead us to the devil, and, in~addition, to drain
22    1|         good of you. ~Thus by the devil's incitement you will get
23    1|        against wickedness and the devil. ~Therefore I have always

44    3|          us from the power~of the devil, we must also pray that
45    3|           no one believes how the devil opposes and resists them,
46    3|        and reckon~upon having the devil with all his angels and
47    3|         done, not the will of the~devil and of our enemies, nor
48    3|          and succeed although the devil with all his adherents~raise
49    3|         and put down all that the devil, Pope, bishops, tyrants,

71    5|           of the flesh and of the devil. If therefore, you are~heavy-laden
72    5|            you will also have the devil about you, whom you will
73    5|       avoid him. Now, what is the devil? Nothing else than what
74    5|          or in the kingdom of the~devil. ~Therefore, try this and
75    5|   Sacrament, especially~since the devil plies his force against
76    5|       pray,~and fight against the devil.~
