1 1| commandment requires. On~this account also these means of receiving 2 1| extirpated all idolatry, and, on account of~it, both heathen and 3 1| becomes holy or~unholy on your account, according as you are occupied 4 1| holy day, as those who on account of their~greed or frivolity 5 1| great and precious, not on account of our worthiness, but~because 6 1| this commandment; on which account,~even if we had no father 7 1| so much good! On our own account we~should not have a farthing 8 1| whom also you must~give account for it. ~But here again 9 1| most strictly call~us to account and punish us for it; nor 10 1| reprove and punish, namely, on~account of those very persons who 11 1| one offend his neighbor on~account of any evil deed, even though 12 1| because God has on His own account instituted that office;~ 13 1| that the latter, perhaps on account of distress or debt,~cannot 14 1| to them, not on their own~account, but for God's sake.
