   Chapter
1 1| nobody. But God's Word is the treasure which sanctifies~everything, 2 1| things, as the most precious treasure on earth. Furthermore,~that 3 1| deprive~themselves of this treasure and joy of conscience and 4 1| she would acquire such a~treasure as all that are esteemed 5 1| them great as the dearest treasure and the~most precious jewel 6 1| possessions, we have~yet another treasure, namely, honor and good 7 1| and dear, as the~highest treasure given by God.~~ 8 2| knowledge, but a far greater treasure. For here we see~how the 9 2| acquired and~gained the treasure for us by His suffering, 10 2| vain and lost. That this treasure, therefore, might not lie~ 11 2| Holy Ghost to bring this~treasure home and appropriate it 12 2| that He has~acquired this treasure for us, without our works 13 3| sublime as the greatest treasure and sanctuary that we have; 14 3| for an eternal inestimable treasure and~everything that God 15 4| tear away the most precious~treasure with which God has connected 16 4| the name of God which is a treasure greater and nobler than~ 17 4| obtain such an unspeakable treasure, which also~indicates sufficiently 18 4| we may apprehend such a treasure? ~Now, they are so mad as 19 4| itself a divine superabundant treasure. Therefore this single word ( 20 4| no work done by us, but a~treasure which He gives us, and which 21 4| cross is not a work, but a treasure~comprehended in the Word, 22 4| to believe this, for the~treasure is not wanting, but this 23 4| every one's door such a treasure and medicine~as utterly 24 5| there we receive such a treasure by and in which we~obtain 25 5| token, yea, the very~same treasure that is appointed for me 26 5| That, we say, is verily the treasure, and nothing else, through~ 27 5| and that it is yours as a treasure and gift. Now the body of~ 28 5| Yet however great is the treasure in itself, it must be~comprehended 29 5| then, should we allow this treasure~to be torn from the Sacrament 30 5| such a saving good. The treasure, indeed, is~opened and placed 31 5| worthily. For since this treasure is entirely presented in~ 32 5| such a gift and eternal treasure cannot be~seized with the 33 5| heart, which discerns~this treasure and desires it. This may 34 5| men may not let so great a treasure which is daily administered~ 35 5| offers to us the entire treasure which He has brought for~
