Chapter
1 1| as though unwilling to~receive anything from God as a gift,
2 1| sufficiently said) from whom we receive all good, and by whom we
3 1| from men, still~whatever we receive by His command or arrangement
4 1| manner of good, so that we receive these blessings not~from
5 1| pleasing~God and that he will receive joy and happiness for his
6 1| induce and encourage us to receive and highly~esteem His Word
7 2| that we must expect and receive from God, and, to state
8 2| both as to~what we have and receive from God, and what we owe
9 2| bringing us to Christ to receive this good, to which~we could
10 3| wide and open your cloak to~receive much. ~Therefore, every
11 3| children, that He may not receive~shame, but honor and praise
12 3| have not the confidence to~receive them, but scarcely venture
13 3| to our salvation, that we receive as~our own God and all His
14 3| we may recognize that we receive them from His hand, and
15 3| lying, and therefore they receive nothing. As St. James says [
16 3| man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord. Behold,
17 4| makes the person worthy to receive~profitably the saving, divine
18 4| name, in order that you may receive in~the water the promised
19 5| benefits? and, Who is to receive it? And all~these are established
20 5| believe or are worthy, you receive My body and blood, but:
21 5| Sacrament because there we receive such a treasure by and in
22 5| Christians make ready to receive this venerable Sacrament~
23 5| they are not~prepared to receive forgiveness of sin since
24 5| in an~unchristian manner receive it to their hurt and damnation;
25 5| the Sacrament~you are to receive from the lips of Christ
26 5| youth, so that they would receive them with~pleasure and earnestness,
