Chapter

 1    1|         although we~shall never attain to that as long as we live
 2    1|         so high that no one can attain to them~by human power;
 3    1|         power; and whoever does attain to them is a heavenly, angelic~
 4    2|         too~feeble and weak to [attain to or] keep them. Therefore
 5    2|         that we may know~how to attain thereto, whence and whereby
 6    2|     good, to which~we could not attain of ourselves. ~Learn, then,
 7    2|  dispense~forgiveness, until we attain to that life where there
 8    2|      has she never been able to attain to [the knowledge and~understanding
 9    2| explained above) we could never attain to the knowledge of the
10    3|        to prepare for it and~to attain to the proper devotion.
11    3|       and be glad that they can~attain forgiveness. And let no
12    3|    flesh, afterwards, they that~attain to middle life and old age,
13    4|         no work upon~earth, can attain. ~Let this suffice respecting
