Chapter

 1    1|       have often said that the confidence and~faith of the heart alone
 2    1|       entire heart and all his confidence be~placed in God alone,
 3    1|       know no other comfort or confidence than~in Him, and do not
 4    1|      to risk our~hearts in all confidence with God, if we wish all
 5    1|      nothing higher of us than confidence from the heart for~everything
 6    1|        of God,~and with hearty confidence and invocation of His name
 7    1|    order to please Him, in the confidence that He will abundantly~
 8    3|      the same, or have not the confidence to~receive them, but scarcely
 9    3|   pieces.~This consolation and confidence we have, that the will and
10    3|     thus~loses the comfort and confidence derived from the Gospel;
11    3| towards God, nor can take such~confidence, it will nevermore venture
