1 1 | the whole of the threefold world is the Buddha-vehicle magnified
2 1 | themselves to the guides of the world to ask for the most excellent
3 1 | of creatures; both this world and heaven covered with
4 1 | beam darted by him over the world renders visible so many
5 1 | extending from him all over the world makes visible many thousands
6 1 | meeting opposition in all the world be heard everywhere, therefore
7 1 | a Sugata, knower of the world, an incomparable tamer of
8 1 | the Lord by resigning the world; all of them strove to reach
9 1 | assembly, on seeing how the world was illuminated by the lustre
10 1 | complete Nirvâna to the world, including the gods, Mâras
11 1 | 60. And the Lord of the world proclaimed the law, and
12 1 | glittered, illuminating the world all over the extent of eighteen
13 1 | afterwards, as the Leader of the world, worshipped by men, gods,
14 1 | the eye and refuge of the world; thou art the trustworthy
15 1 | proclaimed by the Lord of the world while continuing sitting
16 1 | spoke, that day, towards the world including the gods (as follows):~
17 1 | affectionate and merciful to the world is going to speak, is going

19 2 | the other chiefs of the world, how it is, like what it

21 2 | disciples of the Knower of the world, those who have done their
22 2 | career];~15. If the whole world were full of them, as of
23 2 | the ten directions of the world.~19. Thou, Sâriputra, be
24 2 | law at great length to the world at large. I deliver whosoever
25 2 | Because, Sâriputra, the world, including the gods, would
26 2 | this matter for the the world, including the gods, would
27 2 | Tathâgata, &c., appears in the world. And what is that sole object,
28 2 | Tathâgata, &c., appearing in the world? To show all creatures the
29 2 | Tathâgata, &c., appear in the world; to open the eyes of creatures
30 2 | Tathâgata, &c., appear in the world. This, O Sâriputra, is the
31 2 | of his appearance in the world. Such then, Sâriputra, is
32 2 | Sâriputra, universally in the world, in all directions. For,
33 2 | many, out of pity to the world, for the benefit, weal,
34 2 | many, out of pity to the world, for the benefit, weal,
35 2 | understood that nowhere in the world a second vehicle is taught,
36 2 | of living beings in this world; I know their various actions
37 2 | 49. And to those in the world who have always been pure,
38 2 | Buddhas pre-eminent in the world. And I, perceiving their
39 2 | a third anywhere in the world, apart from the case of
40 2 | vehicles.~54. The Chief of the world appears in the world to
41 2 | the world appears in the world to reveal the Buddha-knowledge.
42 2 | the Buddha, because the world follows my teaching'.~58.
43 2 | illuminating this whole world, and, worshipped by many
44 2 | his lustre all over the world?~60 And while I am thinking
45 2 | know that) the Lords of the world speak the truth; this is
46 2 | Tathâgata reveals to the world, including the gods, superior
47 2 | beings).~74. And all in the world who are hearing or have
48 2 | of these leaders of the world, by which they shall educate
49 2 | unshakeable perpetuity in the world, the awaking of the Buddhas

52 2 | skilfulness of the leaders of the world, thou repeatest their teaching.~

54 2 | agitation in this dreadful world.'~124. When I had come to

83 3 | delighting in this triple world ye are burnt, heated, inflamed
84 3 | senses. Fly from this triple world; betake yourselves to the
85 3 | to run out of this triple world. And to attract them I say:
86 3 | Tathâgata, the father of the world, and consequently apply
87 3 | disciples, fly from the triple world, just as some of the boys
88 3 | Pratyekabuddhas, fly from the triple world, just as some of the boys
89 3 | out of compassion to the world, for the benefit, weal,
90 3 | weal, and happiness of the world at large, both gods and
91 3 | vehicle, fly from the triple world. Therefore they are called
92 3 | recovered from the triple world, released from sorrow, fear,
93 3 | delivered from the triple world, to them the Tathâgata gives
94 3 | pleasures of the triple world, are my sons.~86. This triple
95 3 | my sons.~86. This triple world is as dreadful as that house,
96 3 | detached from the triple world and serene, am living in
97 3 | retirement in a wood. This triple world is my domain, and those
98 3 | numerous evils of the triple world which are known to me.~90.
99 3 | the most exalted in the world, that knowledge of the Buddhas,
100 3 | no second vehicle in this world anywhere to be found, in
101 3 | from pain, from the triple world, from fear and danger, when
102 3 | When the creatures in this world delight in low and contemptible

122 5 | Arhat, &c. appear in the world. Like unto a great cloud
123 5 | forth his call to the whole world, including gods, men, and
124 5 | before the face of the world, including gods, men, and
125 5 | wisdom I know both this world and the next, such as they
126 5 | Dharmarâga, born in the world as the destroyer of existence.
127 5 | the Buddha comes into the world like a rain-cloud, and,
128 5 | and, once born, he, the world's Lord, speaks and shows
129 5 | great Seer, honoured in the world, including the gods, speaks
130 5 | I have appeared in this world like a cloud.~18. I shall
131 5 | are clogged to the triple world. I shall bring to felicity
132 5 | superior, who appears in this world to save.~20. To thousands
133 5 | 24. I recreate the whole world like a cloud shedding its
134 5 | of them being low in the world, others middle-sized and
135 5 | law by which this whole world is refreshed; and each according
136 5 | everlasting weal of the world; by the law the whole world
137 5 | world; by the law the whole world is recreated, and as the
138 5 | expand their blossoms, the world does the same when refreshed.~
139 5 | way all over the triple world, striving after supreme
140 5 | that of all leaders of the world.~44. What I here say is
141 5 | Kâsyapa, shines upon all the world, upon the virtuous and the
142 5 | who have left the triple world one Nirvâna, or two, or
143 5 | eyesight; there is none in the world who could surpass me. And
144 5 | staying in the whirl of the world with its six states; the
145 5 | who is out of the triple world, feels compassion, prompted

147 5 | passion in the whirl of the world; freed from those ties he

150 5 | seeing, the whole triple world full of beings of contrary
151 5 | move in the turmoil of the world, because they do not know
152 5 | path of toils.~60. In the world so blinded by ignorance
153 5 | escaped from the triple world thinks he has reached pure,
154 5 | immediately forgotten.~70. In this world he is called all-knowing
155 5 | who knows that the triple world throughout is of that nature,
156 5 | but one vehicle in this world.~82. All laws (or the laws
157 6 | bodily existence in the world Avabhâsa (i. e. lustre),
158 6 | existence be a Lord of the world, a matchless, great Seer.~
159 6 | become a Tathâgata in the world, an Arhat, &c. &c., by the
160 6 | beneficial and bounteous to the world.~20. The field where that
161 6 | where that friend of the world shall save myriads of kotis
162 6 | shall be a Tathâgata in the world, an Arhat, &c. &c., named
163 6 | highly honoured in this world, including the gods, under
164 6 | existence become in the world a Tathâgata, &c., named
165 6 | beings I so beneficial to the world, he shall erect Stûpas consisting
166 6 | and compassionate to the world, under the name of Tamâlapatrakandanagandha.~
167 7 | beyond, there appeared in the world a Tathâgata, &c., named
168 7 | one atom of dust from this world he is to walk a thousand
169 7 | mass of dust, so that this world were empty and the mass
170 7 | not being heard; the whole world is plunged in thick darkness.~
171 7 | hast thou, Majesty of the world, reached this hallowed,
172 7 | spot; we as well as the world are obliged to thee, and
173 7 | out of compassion for the world; for the benefit, weal,
174 7 | knowledge; let it shine in the world, including the gods.~16.
175 7 | been born somewhere in the world, and whose birth is announced
176 7 | merciful, has arisen in the world. Thou art born a protector,
177 7 | content, O Knower of the world!~After the great Brahma-angels,
178 7 | favourable, O Lord, to this world! Preach the law, O Lord,
179 7 | the law, O Lord, to this world, including gods, Mâras,
180 7 | public; out of mercy to the world, for the benefit and happiness
181 7 | Rare is the light of the world like the blossom of the
182 7 | men, have appeared in this world, that by his power these
183 7 | made his appearance in this world.~Thereupon, monks, the great
184 7 | the lark's'. Leader in the world, including the gods, I salute
185 7 | benign and bounteous to the world.~32. How wonderful, O Lord,
186 7 | time thou appearest in the world. Eighty hundred complete
187 7 | hundred complete Æons this world of the living was without
188 7 | portent somewhere in the world. Come, let us go and investigate
189 7 | Buddha has arisen in this world.~Thereupon, monks, the great
190 7 | thou now appearest in the world; after hundreds of complete
191 7 | creatures, O Lord of the world! Now first thou art seen;
192 7 | of the true law over this world and proclaim the sweet-sounding,
193 7 | has been bestowed upon the world in recompense of good works,
194 7 | perhaps a Buddha born in the world?~Thereupon, monks, the great
195 7 | the mighty Lords of the world; those Buddhas who are to
196 7 | all beings in this triple world.~48. The all-seeing Masters

198 7 | being led by the Lord of the world, they were precipitated

247 11| wanders through this whole world in all ten points of space.~
248 11| from the Leaders of the world over all quarters, (a fragrance)
249 11| presence of the Lords of the world.~11. The Seer Prabhûtaratna

263 12| conduct, &c. &c., in the world Bhadra; and the lifetime
264 12| thou art the master of the world, including the gods; thou
265 12| Lord, staying in another world, shall protect, defend,
266 12| horrible last period of the world, we will proclaim this sublime
267 12| respect for the Chief of the world we will bear it, however
268 12| command of the Lord of the world we will in the last period
269 12| Lord.~20. O Chief of the world, we will deliver thy message;
270 12| great Seer.~21. Light of the world, thou knowest the disposition

284 13| Sûtra proclaimed in the world, the most eminent of all
285 13| to all creatures in the world. He goes all over the earth
286 13| 65. And the Lord of the world, perceiving his good intention,
287 14| 1. Does the Lord of the world, the illuminator, feel at
288 14| orders of the Lord of the world, so as to give no trouble.~
289 14| Bodhisattvas, O Lord of the world, has an immense train, like
290 14| faculty and wisdom.~27. This world on every side is being perforated,
291 14| Tell us the name of this world, O Leader.~29. We have repeatedly
292 14| perfect enlightenment in this world. I have, moreover, fully
293 14| wonder and admiration of the world; who are possessed of great
294 14| time ago, O Lord of the world.~45. And now thou hast so
295 14| sons of the Master of the world.~47. How will these Bodhisattvas
296 14| to believe, O Lord of the world, that they were sons to
297 14| praised by the Leaders of the world;~52. Who in freedom live
298 14| believed when the Leader of the world shall be completely extinct?
299 15| of good family, that this world, including gods, men, and
300 15| Tathâgata sees the triple world as it really is: it is not
301 15| Tathâgata sees the triple world, not as the ignorant, common
302 15| order to escape the triple world and not conceive how precious
303 15| repeatedly am I born in the world of the living.~8. Honoured
304 15| unless the Lord of the world enter Nirvâna.~9. I see
305 15| when creatures behold this world and imagine that it is burning,
306 15| burning; in their view this world is most terrific, wretched,
307 15| beings are born in this world of men, they immediately
308 15| So am I the father of the world, the Self born, the Healer,
309 15| who know the course of the world, declare: I am so and so, (
310 16| atoms of one fourcontinental world, have by hearing this Dharmaparyâya
311 16| sons of the Leader of the world, have been pervaded with
312 16| honour the mighty Lord of the world.~13. Innumerable wise Bodhisattvas
313 16| undertake to practise in this world the five perfect virtues;~
314 16| to the Tathâgata, and the world, including the gods, should
315 16| for the weal of all the world, including the gods.~60.
316 17| as are contained in the world of creatures,-(as if) all
317 18| parents he shall see the whole world from within and without.~
318 18| are uttered in the triple world, within and without, all
319 18| without any exception, in this world.~8. He perceives the sounds
320 18| all beings in the triple world, in this field, within and
321 18| are found in the triple world, within and without, such
322 18| bad, which exist in this world;~23. The fragrance of the
323 18| heard by the whole of this world; his voice is (so) fine,
324 18| benign and merciful for the world, along with their disciples,
325 18| beings who in the triple world disappear and appear, who
326 18| seen, so on his body this world. Being self-born, he sees
327 18| all beings who are in this world, men, gods, demons, goblins,
328 18| the beings living in this world, within or without, gods,
329 18| signs, preaches all over the world, and he catches what the
330 18| the ancient Masters of the world is the law which he, never
331 19| before, there appeared in the world a Tathâgata, &c., named
332 19| the Æon Vinirbhoga, in the world Mahâsambhava. Now, Mahâsthâmaprâpta,
333 19| Tathâgata, &c., in that world Vinirbhoga, showed the law
334 19| law in the presence of the world, including gods, men, and
335 19| had disappeared in the world Mahâsambhava, Mahâsthâmaprâpta,
336 19| Mahâsthâmaprâpta, there arose in that world Mahâsambhava twenty hundred
337 19| after my extinction in this world.~ ~
338 20| devotees living in this world; the gods, Nâgas, goblins,
339 20| kotis of worlds there is the world named Saha; there the Tathâgata
340 20| promote the weal of the world possessed by those who,
341 20| their tongue over the whole world, darting thousands of beams
342 20| the attention of the whole world, of all parts of the world

355 23| Buddha-fields, equal, &c., is the world called Vairokanarasmipratimandita (
356 23| Tathâgata, &c., filled the world Vairokanarasmipratimandita
357 23| a great lustre. In that world Vairokanarasmipratimandita
358 23| low opinion of it. That world, young man of good family,
359 23| from the east, from the world Vairokanarasmipratimandita,
360 23| right, vanished from the world Vairokanarasmipratimandita,
361 23| period there appeared in the world a Tathâgata called Meghadundubhisvararâga (

365 24| and in all regions of the world.~19. Birth, decrepitude,
366 24| course thy lustre in the world.~22. O thou who rejoicest
367 24| so compassionate for the world, shall once become a Buddha,
368 24| the west, where the pure world Sukhâkara is situated, there
369 24| Sâla-king.~33. The Leader of the world, whose store of merit has
370 24| has no equal in the triple world. O supreme of men, let us
371 25| time there appeared in the world a Tathâgata named Galadharagargitaghoshasusvaranakshatrarâgasankusumitâbhigña,
372 25| Æon Priyadarsana, in the world Vairokanarasmipratimandita.

374 25| Lotus of the True Law to the world, including the gods. That
375 25| depart; we will renounce the world; the favourable moment is
