76 8 | transcendent wisdom of the Bodhisattvas. He has been a strongly

94 10| Bhaishagyarâga, will these Bodhisattvas Mahâsattvas be far away
95 10| Dharmaparyâya. But when the Bodhisattvas Mahasattvas shall hear,
96 10| for the perfecting of the Bodhisattvas Mahâsattvas. Any Bodhisattva,
97 10| face of the congregated Bodhisattvas, the four classes of hearers,
98 10| striving for the vehicle of Bodhisattvas, and I, staying in another
99 10| shall very soon all become Bodhisattvas, and by cultivating his
100 11| serving for the instruction of Bodhisattvas. But from the moment that
101 11| many hundred thousands of Bodhisattvas, covered with canopies,
102 11| with hundred thousands of Bodhisattvas. So, too, it was in the
103 11| addressed each his own troop of Bodhisattvas: We shall have to go, young
104 11| himself and the crowd of Bodhisattvas and disciples. Strew him
105 11| addressed the whole company of Bodhisattvas and the world, including
106 11| surrounded and attended by many Bodhisattvas, from the bosom of the sea,
107 11| seated many thousands of Bodhisattvas, who flocked through the
108 11| perfect enlightenment. The Bodhisattvas amongst them who had formerly
109 12| twenty hundred thousand Bodhisattvas, spoke before the face of
110 12| along with others become Bodhisattvas and preachers of the law
111 12| succession to those six thousand Bodhisattvas concerning their destiny
112 12| eighty hundred thousand Bodhisattvas who were gifted with magical
113 12| back. No sooner were those Bodhisattvas regarded by the Lord than
114 12| and guard us.~Then the Bodhisattvas unanimously in a chorus
115 13| most difficult, what these Bodhisattvas Mahâsattvas will attempt
116 13| the Lord. How are these Bodhisattvas Mahâsattvas to promulgate
117 13| called the observance of the Bodhisattvas in general. Now listen to
118 13| adherents of the vehicle of Bodhisattvas, nor defame, nor humble
119 13| adherent of the vehicle of the Bodhisattvas. Nor does he show any delight
120 13| fathers, and in respect to all Bodhisattvas as if they were his masters.
121 13| his masters. And as to the Bodhisattvas Mahâsattvas in all directions
122 13| feeling of vexation.~42. 'The Bodhisattvas in all directions of space,
123 13| when he sees disciples and Bodhisattvas fighting against the Mâra

125 14| CHAPTER XIV. ISSUING OF BODHISATTVAS FROM THE GAPS OF THE EARTH.~
126 14| Out of the multitude of Bodhisattvas Mahâsattvas who had flocked
127 14| flocked from other worlds, Bodhisattvas eight (times) equal to the
128 14| Saha-world thousands of Bodhisattvas equal to the sands of sixty
129 14| Bodhisattva; and of such Bodhisattvas there is a number equal
130 14| Ganges rivers, each of these Bodhisattvas having an equal number in
131 14| thousand myriads of kotis of Bodhisattvas with gold-coloured bodies
132 14| the earth. Each of these Bodhisattvas had a train of thousands
133 14| a train of thousands of Bodhisattvas similar to the sands of
134 14| teacher of a troop. Of such Bodhisattvas Mahâsattvas having a troop,
135 14| there were to be found of Bodhisattvas Mahâsattvas having a train
136 14| Mahâsattvas having a train of Bodhisattvas similar to the sands of
137 14| there were to be found of Bodhisattvas Mahâsattvas having a train
138 14| Mahâsattvas having a train of Bodhisattvas similar to the sands of
139 14| there were to be found of Bodhisattvas Mahâsattvas having a train
140 14| thousand myriads of kotis of Bodhisattvas; of one koli; of one hundred
141 14| there were to be found of Bodhisattvas Mahâsattvas having one follower.
142 14| there were to be found of Bodhisattvas Mahâsattvas standing isolated.
143 14| known by occult science, the Bodhisattvas Mahâsattvas who emerged
144 14| different worlds. After these Bodhisattvas had many hundred thousand
145 14| Tathâgata, &c.~And while those Bodhisattvas Mahâsattvas who had emerged
146 14| thousands of worlds replete with Bodhisattvas. The four Bodhisattvas Mahisattvas
147 14| with Bodhisattvas. The four Bodhisattvas Mahisattvas who were the
148 14| chiefest of that great host of Bodhisattvas, viz. the Bodhisattva Mahâsattva
149 14| steady conduct), these four Bodhisattvas Mahâsattvas standing at
150 14| the great multitude of Bodhisattvas stretched out the joined
151 14| the Lord?~And those four Bodhisattvas Mahâsattvas addressed the
152 14| the Lord answered the four Bodhisattvas Mahâsattvas who were at
153 14| that great multitude of Bodhisattvas: So it is, young men of
154 14| truth.~And at that time the Bodhisattvas Mahâsattvas uttered the
155 14| his approval to the four Bodhisattvas Mahâsattvas who were at
156 14| that great multitude of Bodhisattvas Mahâsattvas, saying: Well
157 14| thousand myriads of kotis of Bodhisattvas similar to the sands of
158 14| so great a multitude of Bodhisattvas; we never yet heard of such
159 14| shouts. Whence have these Bodhisattvas Mahâsattvas flocked hither?~
160 14| thousand myriads of kotis of Bodhisattvas similar to the sands of
161 14| thousand myriads of kotis of Bodhisattvas, numberless, whom we never
162 14| come?~8. And each of those Bodhisattvas, O Lord of the world, has
163 14| those heroes, those mighty Bodhisattvas.~17. There are yet others
164 14| beyond computation, very wise Bodhisattvas are seen in a respectful
165 14| energetic heroes, those mighty Bodhisattvas, come from?~25. Who has
166 14| perforated, O Seer, by the wise Bodhisattvas, who at this time are emerging.~
167 14| space, but never saw these Bodhisattvas.~30. We never saw a single
168 14| thousands, ten thousands of Bodhisattvas, all equally filled with
169 14| these heroes, these wise Bodhisattvas, come from?~Meanwhile the
170 14| that great multitude of Bodhisattvas emerging from the gaps of
171 14| Where, O Lord, do so many Bodhisattvas Mahâsattvas, so innumerable,
172 14| addressed the entire host of Bodhisattvas: Be attentive all, young
173 14| you and the entire host of Bodhisattvas; the Tathâgata, the Arhat, &
174 14| I declare to thee: These Bodhisattvas Mahâsattvas, Agita, so innumerable,
175 14| gaps of the earth, these Bodhisattvas Mahâsattvas, Agita, have
176 14| Bodhisattvaship. And these Bodhisattvas Mahâsattvas, Agita, occupy
177 14| following stanzas:~37. These Bodhisattvas, immense, inconceivable
178 14| brought to maturity; these Bodhisattvas are my sons.~39. All have
179 14| thousands of myriads of kotis of Bodhisattvas were struck with wonder,
180 14| so short a time so many Bodhisattvas, so countless, have been
181 14| enlightenment this host of Bodhisattvas, this multitude of Bodhisattvas,
182 14| Bodhisattvas, this multitude of Bodhisattvas, a multitude so great that
183 14| of kotis of Æons? These Bodhisattvas, so innumerable, O Lord,
184 14| enlightenment, and with these Bodhisattvas Mahâsattvas, so immense
185 14| Tathâgata must know that the Bodhisattvas who have newly entered the
186 14| perplexity, and that the Bodhisattvas who in future shall hear
187 14| world.~47. How will these Bodhisattvas believe this great wonder?
188 14| conceive how these numerous Bodhisattvas of good memory and excelling
189 14| feel any doubt.~54. May Bodhisattvas never come to grief by having
190 14| truthful account how these Bodhisattvas have been brought to maturity
191 15| addressed the entire host of Bodhisattvas: Trust me, young men of
192 15| time the Lord addressed the Bodhisattvas: Trust me, young gentlemen
193 15| time the Lord addressed the Bodhisattvas: Trust me, young men of
194 15| Then the entire host of Bodhisattvas with Maitreya, the Bodhisattva
195 15| Lord, considering that the Bodhisattvas repeated their prayer up

197 15| us also, O Lord, who are Bodhisattvas standing on the place from
198 15| the Lord spoke to those Bodhisattvas Mahâsattvas as follows:
199 15| the law.~2. I roused many Bodhisattvas and established them in
200 16| thousand myriads of kotis of Bodhisattvas, comparable to the sands
201 16| origin. A thousand times more Bodhisattvas Mahisattvas have obtained
202 16| in the text]; and other Bodhisattvas Mahâsattvas, equal to the
203 16| of unhampered view. Other Bodhisattvas Mahâsattvas again, equal
204 16| revolutions. Again, other Bodhisattvas Mahâsattvas, equal to the
205 16| that never rolls back. Some Bodhisattvas Mahâsattvas, equal to the
206 16| spotless radiance. Other Bodhisattvas Mahâsattvas, equal to the
207 16| after eight births. Other Bodhisattvas Mahâsattvas, equal to the
208 16| perfect enlightenment. Other Bodhisattvas Mahâsattvas, equal to the
209 16| perfect enlightenment. Other Bodhisattvas Mahâsattvas, equal to the
210 16| perfect enlightenment. Other Bodhisattvas Mahâsattvas, equal to the
211 16| perfect enlightenment. Other Bodhisattvas Mahâsattvas, equal to the
212 16| well as that entire host of Bodhisattvas and the four classes of
213 16| moving of their own accord. Bodhisattvas Mahâsattvas were seen holding
214 16| Brahma-world. So acted the Bodhisattvas Mahâsattvas in respect to
215 16| world.~13. Innumerable wise Bodhisattvas hold myriads of kotis of
216 16| Pratyekabuddhas and kotis of Bodhisattvas by giving meat, food and
217 16| obtain such a reward.~32. The Bodhisattvas also,who have practised
218 16| surrounded by a host of Bodhisattvas, attended by a host of Bodhisattvas,
219 16| Bodhisattvas, attended by a host of Bodhisattvas, in the centre of the congregation
220 16| behold the towers that the Bodhisattvas use as their abodes. By
221 16| kotis of virtues of the Bodhisattvas Mahâsattvas, and expound
222 17| advantage of a connection with Bodhisattvas who have acquired Dhâranî.
223 18| disciples, Pratyekabuddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Tathâgatas; as many
224 18| Sugatas.~17. And when the Bodhisattvas here on earth have a reading
225 18| disciples, Pratyekabuddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Tathâgatas. He smells
226 18| the odour whether other Bodhisattvas are of good memory, meditative,
227 18| disciples, Pratyekabuddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Tathâgatas dwelling
228 18| of Buddha; likewise the Bodhisattvas who lead a solitary life,
229 19| enlightenment, he showed to the Bodhisattvas. The lifetime of that Lord
230 19| observe the course of duty of Bodhisattvas and are to become Tath.âgatas, &
231 19| observe the course of duty of Bodhisattvas and are to become Tathâgatas, &
232 19| observe the course of duty of Bodhisattvas; you are to become Tathâgatas, &
233 19| assembly, the five hundred Bodhisattvas headed by Bhadrapâla, the
234 19| as it tends to result for Bodhisattvas Mahâsattvas in supreme,
235 19| Hence, Mahâsthâmaprapta, the Bodhisattvas Mahâsattvas should, after
236 20| thousands of myriads of kotis of Bodhisattvas equal to the dust-atoms
237 20| thousands of myriads of kotis of Bodhisattvas, headed by Mañgusrî; the
238 20| not human, and the many Bodhisattvas Mahâsattvas equal to the
239 20| of those afore-mentioned Bodhisattvas Mahâsattvas followed by
240 20| thousand myriads of kotis of Bodhisattvas, with gold-coloured bodies
241 20| interior of lotuses. Those Bodhisattvas spread in all directions
242 20| just now revealing to the Bodhisattvas Mahasattvas the Dharmaparyâya
243 20| extent, serving to instruct Bodhisattvas, and belonging in proper
244 20| Thereupon the Lord addressed the Bodhisattvas Mahasattvas headed by Visishtakâritra:
245 20| behold) all these numerous Bodhisattvas and the four classes.~8.

267 23| the Tathâgata, nor of the Bodhisattvas, nor of that Buddha-field.~

275 23| delivered, forty-two thousand Bodhisattvas acquired the facultyof acquiescence

290 27| his pulpit, collected the Bodhisattvas, took their right hands

293 27| time the entire host of Bodhisattvas spoke in, one voice the
