5 12| Then the nun Yasodharâ, the mother of Rahula, thought thus:
6 17| to another person, his mother, father, kinsman, friend,
7 22| addressed his father and mother in the following stanza :~
8 22| Sarvasattvapriyadarsana said to his father and mother: Even now, father and mother,
9 22| mother: Even now, father and mother, the Lord Kandravimalasûryaprabhâsasrî,
10 22| Lord. Therefore, father and mother, I should like to go to
11 22| for the merchants, like a mother for her children, like a
12 23| ungrateful to their father and mother, not impious, not heterodox,
13 25| Vimalanetra went to their mother, to whom they said, after
14 25| hands: We should like to go, mother, to the Lord Galadharagargitaghoshasusvaranakshatrarâgasankusumitâbhigña,
15 25| Tathâgata, &c., and that, mother, because the Lord Galadharagargitaghoshasusvaranakshatrarâgasankusumitâbhigña,
16 25| joined hands, said to their mother: Though born in a family
17 25| gentlemen, they went to their mother and with joined hands stretched
18 25| stretched forward said to her: Mother, we have converted our father
19 25| Vimalanetra addressed their mother in the following two stanzas:~
20 25| stanzas:~1. Allow us, O mother, to go forth from home and
21 25| parents: Pray, father and mother, you also go together with
22 25| the law. For, father and mother, the appearance of a Buddha
23 25| Lords Buddhas, father and mother, is rare. Hence, father
24 25| rare. Hence, father and mother, it is a happy lot we have
25 25| prophet. Therefore, father and mother, give us leave; we would
26 25| abandon all evils. And the mother of the two young princes,
