E.N. On what do you labor at this moment?

V.E. Now my task is to write a book on the elderly monk Zaharija, the last elder of the Trinity-Sergiev Lavra before it was closed, who was buried at the German cemetery. For a long time, his personality was reputed to be semi-legendary mainly due to the lack of factual and documentary material. And there is little that spiritual offspring from diligence can say. But there in the archives of the Trinity-Sergiev Lavra, we found a whole trunk of documents which restored the surname, the year of his taking of monastic vows, and many other circumstances of his life. The documents completely confirm the factual design, and all that is left is the simply the evidence of the faithful. This is what lies ahead for me.
