E.N. How can one regard the diminishing spiritual experience of today?

V.E. Here we come to the activization of church life, in the transformation of life in Christ. Here exists only all kinds of hope upon the help of God, the King of the Heavens and of the Saints. If only to us it will not be disgraced, because people now are accepting a church person, before anything else, with trust. Trust in priests have not been a part of Russian life for awhile. Glance through Russian classical literature and you will see that the priest often is a scornful person.
