They are not aware, Mahamati, of the fact that Nirvana 4 3, 4, XVIII | self-realization. Therefore, Mahamati, those who are stupid talk 5 3, 4, XVIII | are no shadows. Therefore, Mahamati, those who do not understand 6 3, 4, XVIII | is seen of the Mind and, Mahamati, go on rolling themselves 7 3, 4, XIX | XIX~Further, Mahamati, according to the teaching 8 3, 4, XIX | manifestations of Mind itself; and, Mahamati, as they are not born of 9 3, 4, XIX | non-being, they are unborn. Mahamati, all things are like the 10 3, 4, XIX | their self-nature unborn, Mahamati, belongs to the realm of 11 3, 4, XIX | and non-being. Therefore, Mahamati, you should discipline yourself 12 3, 4, XXIV | XXIV~Further again, Mahamati, let the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva 13 3, 4, XXIV | the twofold egolessness. Mahamati, what is this twofold egolessness? [ 14 3, 4, XXIV | as a magician moves them. Mahamati, a thorough understanding 15 3, 4, XXIV | egolessness of persons.~Now, Mahamati, what is meant by the egolessness 16 3, 4, XXIV | of false discrimination. Mahamati, since the Skandhas, Dhatus, 17 3, 4, XXIV | creating agent in them, Mahamati, the Skandhas are even destitute 18 3, 4, XXIV | however, do not. Recognizing, Mahamati, that all things are devoid 19 3, 4, XXIV | egolessness of things.~Again, Mahamati, when the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva 20 3, 4, XXIV | egolessness of things. For this reason, Mahamati, the philosophers' doctrine 28 3, 4, XXVIII| Tathagata-garbha.~Thus, Mahamati, the doctrine of the Tathagata-garbha 29 3, 4, XXVIII| enlightenment. Accordingly, Mahamati, the Tathagatas who are 30 3, 4, XXVIII| ego-substance.~Therefore, Mahamati, in order to abandon the 31 3, 4, XXXV | XXXV~At that time, Mahamati the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva 32 3, 4, XXXV | One: Well done, well done, Mahamati! and again, well done, indeed, 33 3, 4, XXXV | again, well done, indeed, Mahamati! Because of your compassion 34 3, 4, XXXV | celestial beings and humankind, Mahamati, you present yourself before 35 3, 4, XXXV | this request. Therefore, Mahamati, listen well and truly, 36 3, 4, XXXV | tell you.~Assuredly, said Mahamati the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, 37 3, 4, XXXV | Blessed One said this to him: Mahamati, since the ignorant and 38 3, 4, XXXV | addicted to false imaginings.~Mahamati, it is like a mirage in 39 3, 4, XXXV | springs. In the same way, Mahamati, clinging to the memory ( 42 3, 4, XXXV | what is seen of Mind-only.~Mahamati, it is like a man, who, 43 3, 4, XXXV | apartments. What do you think, Mahamati? Is this person to be regarded 44 3, 4, XXXV | seen in his dream?~Said Mahamati: Indeed, he is not, Blessed 45 3, 4, XXXV | of being and non-being.~Mahamati, it is like the painter' 46 3, 4, XXXV | ignorant. In the same way, Mahamati, there may be in the future 47 3, 4, XXXV | will be their final resort.~Mahamati, it is like the dim-eyed 48 3, 4, XXXV | seen. In the same manner, Mahamati, those whose minds are addicted 49 3, 4, XXXV | of themselves and others.~Mahamati, it is like a firebrand-wheel 50 3, 4, XXXV | wise. In the same manner, Mahamati, those whose minds have 51 3, 4, XXXV | bothness and not-bothness.~Mahamati, it is like those water-bubbles 52 3, 4, XXXV | crystal gems run after them. Mahamati, they are no more than water-bubbles, 53 3, 4, XXXV | another] - In the same manner, Mahamati, those whose minds are impressed 54 3, 4, XXXVII| XXXVII~Further, Mahamati, there are four kinds of 55 3, 4, XXXVII| practised by the ignorant.~Mahamati, what then is the Dhyana 56 3, 4, XXXVII| examination of meaning.~What, Mahamati, is the Dhyana with Tathata 57 3, 4, XXXVII| Tathata for its object.~What, Mahamati, is the Dhyana of the Tathagata? 58 3, 4, LXVIII| LXVIII~At the time, Mahamati the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva 59 3, 4, LXVIII| One: Well said, well said, Mahamati!
