 2     1,      5        |             the body of Sakyamuni, the Tathagata, who is perfectly endowed

 7     1,      9        |             Adoration to Kohashin5 the Tathagata;~Adoration to Rifui6 the
 8     1,      9        |                Adoration to Rifui6 the Tathagata;~Adoration to Kanroo7 the
 9     1,      9        |               Adoration to Kanroo7 the Tathagata;~Adoration to Omito8 the
10     1,      9        |                Adoration to Omito8 the Tathagata.~Namu omitoboya totogyatoya,~
11     1,      9  (1)   | gaganakirtikare! Svaha!~"Adored be the Tathagata of Infinite Light! Namely:
12     2,      3        |                from the heart of every Tathagata!~O one whose body is as
13     2,      3        |                from the heart of every Tathagata!~Hail!~
14     3,      3        |           World-honoured One, that the Tathagata thinks so much of all the
15     3,      3        |               Subhuti! As you say, the Tathagata thinks very much of all
16     3,      3        |              what do you think? Is the Tathagata to be recognized after a
17     3,      3        |       body-form. Why? According to the Tathagata, a body-form is not a body-form."~
18     3,      3        |               all form is no-form, the Tathagata is recognized."~6. Subhuti
19     3,      3        |               after the passing of the Tathagata, there may be beings who,
20     3,      3        |          Subhuti, are all known to the Tathagata, and recognized by him as
21     3,      3        |        no-dharma. For this reason, the Tathagata always preaches thus: 'O
22     3,      3        |             what do you think? Has the Tathagata attained the supreme enlightenment?
23     3,      3        |               doctrine about which the Tathagata would preach. Why? Because
24     3,      3        |                a merit. Therefore, the Tathagata speaks of the merit as being
25     3,      3        |            What do you think?~When the Tathagata was anciently with Dipankara
26     3,      3        |    World-honoured One, he did not. The Tathagata while with Dipankara Buddha
27     3,      3        |               anything about which the Tathagata preaches?"~Subhuti said
28     3,      3        |                nothing about which the Tathagata preaches."~"Subhuti, what
29     3,      3        |     World-honoured One."~"Subhuti, the Tathagata teaches that all these many
30     3,      3        |              what do you think? Is the Tathagata to be recognized by the
31     3,      3        |   World-honoured One, he is not."~"The Tathagata is not to be recognized
32     3,      3        |       thirty-two marks are told by the Tathagata to be no-marks and therefore
33     3,      3        |           Subhuti, it is taught by the Tathagata that the first Paramita
34     3,      3        |               patience) is said by the Tathagata to be no-Paramita of humility,
35     3,      3        |               benefit all beings.~"The Tathagata teaches that all ideas are
36     3,      3        |                no-beings. Subhuti, the Tathagata is the one who speaks what
37     3,      3        |             the Dharma attained by the Tathagata there is neither truth nor
38     3,      3        |             seen and recognized by the Tathagata with his Buddha-knowledge,
39     3,      3        |              and incomprehensible. The Tathagata has preached this for those
40     3,      3        |              would all be known to the Tathagata and recognized by him, and
41     3,      3        |          enlightenment attained by the Tathagata. 'Why? Subhuti, those who
42     3,      3        |           those innumerable lands, the Tathagata knows well all their mental
43     3,      3        |               traits. Why? Because the Tathagata teaches that all those mental
44     3,      3        |               think? Can a man see the Tathagata by the thirty-two marks [
45     3,      3        |                So it is, so it is. The Tathagata is seen by his thirty-two
46     3,      3        |               said to Subhuti, "If the Tathagata is to be seen by his thirty-two
47     3,      3        |               can the Cakravartin be a Tathagata?"~Subhuti said to the Buddha: "
48     3,      3        |            teaching of the Buddha, the Tathagata is not to be seen by the
49     3,      3        |               path, And cannot see the Tathagata."~29. "Subhuti, if a man
50     3,      3        |                should declare that the Tathagata is the one who comes, or
51     3,      3        |               of my teaching. Why? The Tathagata does not come from anywhere,
52     3,      3        |             therefore he is called the Tathagata.~32. "How does a man expound
53     3,      4, XXIV  |         self-realization, and become a Tathagata endowed with the perfect
54     3,      4, XXXVII|         Mahamati, is the Dhyana of the Tathagata? When [the Yogin], entering

56     3,      4, LXVIII|              Blessed One, pray tell me Tathagata, Arhat, Fully-Enlightened

58     4,      4        |            senses and objects.~48. The Tathagata is interviewed when one
59     4,      4        |                into the secrets of the Tathagata's teaching.~51. Anciently,
60     4,      5        |             teachings given out by the Tathagata, there will be no end however
61     4,      6        |           Therefore, it is told by the Tathagata that he had nothing attained
62     4,      6        |                It is told again by the Tathagata that this Dharma is perfectly
