 2     4,      7, 2|             Illustrative Case~Gensha gave the following sermon:~"

 4     4,      7, 3|    which rivalled the others. Gensha used to give this sermon
 5     4,      7, 3|     into the spirit itself of Gensha, when you will grasp the
 6     4,      7, 3|    will grasp the meaning.~As Gensha ordinarily tested his monks
 7     4,      7, 3|       on the three invalids?" Gensha said, "Yes, you may go on."
 8     4,      7, 3|   master!" and left the room. Gensha said, "Not that, not that."
 9     4,      7, 3|   this monk has fully grasped Gensha.~Later on, Hogen (Fa-yen,
10     4,      7, 3|     was enabled to understand Gensha's sermon on the three invalids."~
11     4,      7, 3|       monk did not understand Gensha, how was it that Hogen made
12     4,      7, 3|       If that monk understood Gensha, why did the latter declare, '
13     4,      7, 3|          One day Jizo said to Gensha, "I am told that you have
14     4,      7, 3|  three invalids, is that so?" Gensha answered, "Yes." Jizo then
15     4,      7, 3| treatment would you give me?" Gensha was quite satisfied with
16     4,      7, 3|     on the part of Jizo.~When Gensha is understood, you will
