Part, Chapter

1    2, 2|   deceit,~So that they raise bitter cries of regret.~Sometimes
2    2, 6|    surprise he found it very bitter, and asked Luqman why he
3    2, 6|    the Beloved.~Through love bitter things seem sweet,~Through
4    5, 4|    And frowned sourly like a bitter orange.~Then God offered
5    6, 1|    they are found to be very bitter and repulsive. The Prophet
6    6, 1|    the bulk of mankind. When bitter experience overtakes them,
7    6, 1| kindled on the tinder-box of bitter experience, but God has
8    6, 5|      said, "If there were no bitter things,~And no opposition
