 1   1,      2  |            All this lighted the fire of her holy desire with
 2   1,      3  | sacrifice was offered to God, a fire descended and drew to Him
 3   1,      3  |       soul, in sending down the fire of the clemency of the Holy
 4   1,      4  |      Son, spilt with so great a fire of love. This Blood teaches

65   3,     30  |      salvation of souls, all on fire with love for the neighbor,
66   3,     31  |       this is given them by the fire and abyss of My inestimable
67   3,     32  |   inebriated, tormented, and on fire with love, her heart wounded
68   3,     32  |      whom issues all light! Oh! Fire above every fire, because
69   3,     32  |     light! Oh! Fire above every fire, because You are the only
70   3,     32  |        because You are the only Fire who burn without consuming,

73   3,     32  |       nothing but the abyss and fire of Your charity. And can

75   3,     32  |     have for man, wherefore the fire of Your love ought not and
76   4,      2  |    hands and purified it in the fire of divine love, having drawn
77   4,      3  |        observe obedience in the fire of love, so that you may
78   4,      4  |      whom the sweet and amorous fire of love towards obedience
79   4,      4  |  obedience burns so high (which fire of love cannot exist without
80   4,      4  |     self-love, so that when the fire increases so does this self-hatred),
81   4,      5  |         then, that the soul, on fire with desire and a holy self-hatred,
82   4,      6  |     object is My Truth, and the fire of love with which she observes
83   4,      7  |       for here they receive the fire of divine charity figured
84   4,      9  |    these latter labor with such fire of love, seeing the shortness
85   4,      9  |       with yourself.' And as to fire, you have read in the holy
