 1   2,      1|           other descendants, as a tree which has many branches;
 2   2,      1|           which gives life to the tree, to its branches, and its
 3   2,      1|      charity, by whose means this tree remains in the perpetual
 4   2,      1| discretion. Because otherwise the tree would not produce the virtue
 5   2,      2|       surface of the earth, and a tree, with an off-shoot joined
 6   2,      2|         center of the circle. The tree is nourished in the earth
 7   2,      2|         of the circle, for if the tree were out of the earth it
 8   2,      2|           way, that the soul is a tree existing by love, and that
 9   2,      2|       then, that the root of this tree, that is the affection of
10   2,      2|        contained in Me). Then the tree of love feeds itself on
11   2,      2|        you, from the heart of the tree, that is the affection of
12   2,      2|          and the soul in Me. This tree then, so sweetly planted,
13   2,     15|  underneath, is called by God the tree of death, whose roots are
14   2,     15|         you. Do you know how this tree finds such roots? In the
15   2,     15|          the soul of him who is a tree of death, because he has
16   2,     15|       life from grace. Inside the tree is nourished the worm of
17   2,     15|        little; the fruits of this tree are mortal, for they have
18   2,     16|            How the fruits of this tree are as diverse as are the
19   2,     16|       fruits of this death-giving tree, are as diverse as sins
20   2,     26|         will gnaw the pith of the tree, that is the soul, and also
21   2,     27|            and of the vision of a tree, that this soul once had. ~
