 1   2,      7|          the soul of man produced thorns and prickly brambles, and
 2   2,     27|              the world germinates thorns and tribulations, and because
 3   2,     28|           world having germinated thorns, who those are whom they
 4   2,     28|           to show you to whom the thorns and tribulations, that the
 5   2,     28| themselves who are injured by the thorns. No one born passes this
 6   2,     28|         Bridge, and pass over the thorns, which do not hurt them,
 7   2,     28|       creatures (all of which are thorns that the earth produced
 8   2,     28|     endure with patience, and the thorns they pass through do not
 9   2,     28|         that, though they walk on thorns, they are not pricked, because
10   2,     30|          without Me, are venomous thorns, and, that the vision of
11   2,     32|        through sin, brought forth thorns. And why did He say 'Let
12   2,     35|      tribulation, and seeking the thorns of consolation, for all
13   2,     35|          for all consolations are thorns that pierce the soul who
14   2,     41|         soul, and to root out the thorns of evil thoughts, replacing
15   3,     20|        defects, draw out of those thorns the rose, that is to say,
16   3,     28|         holy tears, took away the thorns of mortal sins, and planted
17   3,     28|    themselves in the midst of the thorns of tribulation, and exposed
18   4,      5|         vineyard to extirpate the thorns of vice, planting the virtues
