 1   1, 7|      and months of gladness o'er the gentle Sita flew,~As
 2   2, 6|      my feeble senses fail,~O'er my darkened mind and bosom
 3   2, 6|     and deathlike faintness o'er his feeble soul prevailed,~
 4   2, 6|      see disasters sweeping o'er my empire dark and deep,~
 5   2, 6|      the forces of a foeman o'er a scattered army sweep?~
 6   2, 6|       sable covering mantle o'er an impious monarch's grief,~
 7   2, 6|      vast and inky darkness o'er a deed of nameless crime,~
 8   2, 6|      crime,~Reign perennial o'er my sorrows heedless of the
 9   2, 6|     the dawning of the day,~O'er a dark life sin-polluted,
10   3, 5|     day of toilsome journey o'er,~And Ayodhya's loving people
11   3, 6|     travelled, evening fell o'er wood and lea,~And they came
12   3, 6|    the forest shade,~Ganga! o'er the three worlds rolling,
13   3, 6|     fourteen years of exile o'er!",~On the southern shore
14   4, 2|      of kindness done,~Rule o'er Dasa-ratha's empire, Dasa-ratha'

23   6, 5|      waving tresses mantles o'er thy budding charms,~And
24   6, 6|   unrelenting in his wrath,~O'er a bed of pikes of iron tread
25   6, 7|     arose the car celestial o'er the hill and wooded vale,~
26   7, 1|    swore undying friendship o'er the altar blazing high,~
27   7, 6|   gorges of Narmada rolling o'er its rocky bed,~By the gloomy
28   8, 3|  confess no monarch's sway,~O'er the face of rolling waters
29   8, 4|       her heart's affection o'er the billows of the sea,~
30   9, 7|    foeman speeds in triumph o'er a heedless monarch's might,~
31   9, 9|      though their words be ne'er so kind!~Rain-drops fall
32  10, 2|   live to boast his triumph o'er thy world-subduing might,~
33  10, 2|       till her Rama's exile o'er,~He would soothe her lifelong
34  10, 2|      Vanars, how they watch o'er Rama's face,~How they guard
35  10, 2| decaying fingers sweeps not o'er thy Rama's face!~Listen
36  10, 6|      night its sable mantle o'er the earth and ocean drew,~
37  10, 8|       on wings of lightning o'er the field of battle spread.~
38  10, 8|      by his fortune, Ravan ne'er again those portals crost!~
39  10, 8|       dark disaster mantled o'er the vale and rock,~And the
40  10, 9|     or fatal shadow darkens o'er my hapless life,~Victim
41  11, 1|      token came your vassal o'er the wave,~To assist a fallen
42  11, 1| shadow of dishonour darkens o'er a woman's life,~Death alone
43  11, 3|    sacred grove!~Dost thou, o'er the Dandak forest, view
44  11, 4|     rich and brave,~Proudly o'er the gay procession did,
45  11, 4|       vault of sky!~Sailing o'er the cloudless ether Rama'
46  12, 3|       the hours of day were o'er,~And Valmiki's youthful
47  12, 5|       of celestial blossoms o'er the royal chambers flew.~
48  12, 5|       his days of bliss are o'er!~
