 3   6, 6 |             shalt own my regal state!~Lanka girt by boundless ocean
 4   6, 7 |            amidst the boundless ocean Lanka rose in towering pride!~
 5   8, 1 |              Flower-bespangled golden Lanka was like gem-bespangled
 6   8, 2 |              the tale of Rama's glory Lanka's woods and vales prolong:~"
 7   8, 3 |               panoply of war,~Shaking Lanka's sea-girt mountains . slaying
 8   8, 3 |           hinder Rama's path,~When at Lanka's gates he thunders with
 9   8, 4 |               delay,~While in distant Lanka's confines Sita weeps the
10   8, 4 |          speeds on wings of vengeance Lanka's impious lord to smite!"~

21   9, 7 |                Kumbha-kama fights for Lanka 'gainst her foemen fierce

37  10, 6 |          young Lakshman speed through Lanka till his wily foe is found,~
38  10, 6 |               Listen more! this fated Lanka groans beneath her load
39  10, 7 |              to deeper sorrow wakened Lanka's monarch wept and wailed:~"
40  10, 8 |             Issuing from the homes of Lanka did the monarch's ears awail,~

43  10, 12|             slender-waisted, Queen of Lanka's state and pride,~"Hast
44  10, 12|             with his army he invested Lanka's gate,~Rama was no earthly
45  10, 12|              Sorely wept the Queen of Lanka; Rama, tender, tearful,
