 2   3   |        On the third day of their exile, Rama and his wife and brother
 3   3   |          the reputed food of the exile. Thousands and thousands
 4   3, 1|       banishment of Rama, Sita's exile is decreed,~Sire nor son
 5   3, 2|      part,~When the memory of my exile rankles in her sorrowing
 6   3, 3|      Swift will fly the years of exile like a brief and transient
 7   3, 4|     store,~For the many years of exile in a far and unknown shore,~
 8   3, 5|      Hail the first night of our exile mantling us in welcome shade,~
 9   3, 5|          And his anguish and our exile will their gentle bosoms
10   3, 5|          this first night of his exile food nor fruit shall Rama
11   3, 6|           Second night of Rama's exile passed in sleep and gentle
12   3, 6|        safety, fourteen years of exile o'er!",~On the southern
13   3, 6|      Third night of the princes' exile underneath a tree was past.~
14   3, 6|     would through these years of exile in some holy asram dwell.~
15   3, 6|          wisdom and our years of exile spent!"~Pleased the ancient
16   3, 6|         wisdom and your years of exile spent!"~"Gracious are thy
17   3, 6|     Fourth night of the princes' exile in Prayaga's hermitage,~
18   3, 7|         Peaceful be my husband's exile in the forest's darksome

20   4   | sovereignty during his voluntary exile. Rama himself then left

29   6, 7|           Sweet companions of my exile, friends who cheered my
30  10, 2|          longing till her Rama's exile o'er,~He would soothe her
