 1   2, 3|    chamber on the grass of kusa lay,~Till the crimson streaks
 2   2, 5|    uncovered pavement sorrowing lay the weeping wife,~Young
 3   2, 5|        with soft endearing art,~Lay the queen in tears of anguish!
 4   3, 5|      people by the limpid river lay,~Sad and sorrowing they
 5   3, 7|      valour live in thy madying lay!~And the Bard received the
 6   3, 8|        tresses, and his pitcher lay before,~Weltering in a pool
 7   3, 8| witnessed,-there a dying hermit lay!~From his pierced and quivering

26  12, 3|        Father of this deathless Lay?"~"Saint Valmiki," spake
27  12, 3|   thousand verses to this noble Lay belong,~Untold tales of
28  12, 3|       deeds, O monarch, in this Lay will brighter shine,~List
29  12, 3| listened to Valmiki's deathless Lay!~
