 1   1, 2 |     rishi spoke:~Now my ancient eyes have witnessed wond'rous
 2   2, 4 |     Kaikeyi, much these ancient eyes have seen,~Rama's rule is
 3   3, 4 |   followed him apace,~And their eyes were fixed on Rama, pride
 4   3, 8 |         vision falls my closing eyes,~And for bravo and banished
 5   4, 6 |        rich and rare,~Old these eyes and grey these tresses,
 6   6, 1 |     grace,~What though wild her eyes and tresses, and her accents
 7   6, 3 |    illusion, trust not what thy eyes have seen!"~Vainly spake
 8   6, 3 |       wilds he stood,~But these eyes have never rested on a form
 9   6, 5 |     parted Sun,~And he cast his eyes on Sita, as a graha casts
10   6, 5 |       gloomy woodlands with her eyes serenely fair,~With her
