 1   1, 3|      their proud preceptor led,~Bent and broke the mighty weapon,
 2   2, 6|          on unrighteous purpose bent,~Doth thy cruel causeless
 3   2, 7|      duteous Rama to the palace bent his way,~For to make his
 4   3, 6|       pupils on his sacred duty bent.~Famed for rites and lofty
 5   3, 7| branches intertwining, with the bent and twisting cane,~And a
 6   3, 7|      monkeys leaped on branches bent,~Fifth night of their endless
 7   4, 1|        Rama he in loving homage bent,~"Arya!" in his choking

13   5   |      whom the Vindhya mountains bent in awe, and by whose might
14   5, 1|    stately to the great Agastya bent,~With a woman's soft devotion
15   5, 4|    women tell,~And the monarchs bent on conquest mark the winter'
16   6, 1|   thrilled her ear,~What though bent on deeds unholy, holy Rama
17  10, 3|         Lanka's Lord his weapon bent,~Seven bright arrows, keen
18  10, 5|        gifts and sacred mantras bent before the God of Fire,~
