 1   1, 2|   Monarch of Videha's throne,~Grant, the wondrous bow of RUDRA
 2   1, 2|       be Rama's faithful wife~Grant us leave, O royal rishi,
 3   1, 2|      us leave, O royal rishi, grant us blessings kind and fair,~
 4   3, 2|     perennial bliss prevails!~Grant me then thy sweet permission,--
 5   3, 2|    when his Rama wanders far,~Grant me then thyloving mandate,--
 6   3, 2|       track thy darksome way,~Grant it, that thy faithful Lakshman
 7   3, 2|    protect her night and day,~Grant it, with his bow and quiver
 8   3, 2|    hands shall rear the home!~Grant it, in the deepest woodlands
 9   3, 2|      seek the mountain crest,~Grant it, Lakshman ever duteous
10   3, 6|    towns and peopled hamlets, grant us, rishi, in thy grace,~
11   3, 7| mighty Jumna, shall be thine,~Grant that from the woods returning
12   3, 7|       may see his home again,~Grant that honoured by his kinsmen
13   4, 5|   true to duties of thy race,~Grant this favour to thy mother,
14   4, 5|    thy mother, to thy brother grant this grace,~Vain were my
15   5, 1|      of nations, lord of men,~Grant us to thy kind protection
