 1   1, 5|      that Dasa-ratha made his gifts of gold and kine,~And he
 2   1, 5|       on his brother choicest gifts and honours pressed.~Brightly
 3   2, 2|       throne ascend,~Great in gifts and great in glory, Rama
 4   3, 6|       fattened kine,~Gold and gifts and gorgeous garments, pure
 5   4, 2|      royal treasure, make thy gifts of wealth and food,~Not
 6   4, 4| selfish objects say,~Make thy gifts and do thy penance, leave
 7   4, 4|     highest heaven,~Vain were gifts and sacrifices, rigid penances
 8   4, 4|     Truth which they sustain,~Gifts and rites and rigid penance
 9   5, 1|       clusters hung,~And with gifts and rich libations hermits
10  10, 5|     and battle car,~Then with gifts and sacred mantras bent
11  11, 4|     bright Immortals grateful gifts and offerings make,~Bards,
12  12, 1|       trees umbrageous lined,~Gifts were made unto the needy,
13  12, 1|       orphan wealth and gold,~Gifts they gave to holy Brahmans,
14  12, 1|  wealth of Rama by his kindly gifts increased!~
