 1   2, 5 |         strife,~Warring with thy foes immortal thou hadst almost
 2   2, 7 |        thy life,~Wounded erst by foes immortal, saved by Queen
 3   5, 1 |   warrior true and bold,~Impious foes of bright Immortals know
 4   7, 2 |      proud defiance sent!~To his foes resistless Rama is a lightning
 5   7, 3 |          brothers and relentless foes,~Like the sun and moon in
 6   8, 4 |       she not in person from her foes and fetters free?~llanuman,
 7   9, 2 |         hurling challenge on his foes:~"Wherefore, Ravan, quails
 8   9, 6 |         hurling challenge on the foes,~But Bibhishan deep in wisdom--
 9  10, 3 |      gory plain!~"Lofty scorn of foes unworthy spared them from
10  10, 4 |        humbled Ravan shunned his foes,~Till the stalwart Kumbha-karna
11  10, 4 |       hurled to earth his feeble foes,~Dreadful was the field
12  10, 9 | vengeance Rama sought the flying foes.~
13  10, 10|          of the more than mortal foes,~Ravan mighty in his vengeance,
14  10, 11|         they smote their fleeing foes!~Heavenly flowers in rain
